Just a two-minute walk to the water’s edge of the River Blyth, birds and aquatic life are in abundance around here. It’s English countryside serenity at its best. But this home has some hidden luxuries. Before you even start exploring the house itself, you can head to the private, heated, indoor pool onsite. It’s certainly a more luxe version of wild swimming. From the outside, the home looks somewhat unassuming – a small front courtyard for enjoying G&Ts in the sun, and a grey slatted facade make up the exterior. Take in a breath of fresh, country air and head indoors. We love this bright and fresh studio space, with an almost minimalist, Scandi vibe to the decor and furniture. A wood-burning stove sits proudly in the heart of the home – light it up upon arrival and pour a tumbler of whisky to say cheers to the holiday. You might even hear the nearby cows mooing back in response.
