Le pays vert is a charming luxury villa set in a luscious green valley nestled high up in the hills and surrounded by vines and olives. Boasting beautiful views to the distant hills of the Var region this villa is really a delight.
Lovingly restored with traditional country style furnishings and decor yet still retaining its warm terracotta tiled floors, this is a peaceful retreat with authentic Provencal character. Within close proximity to both the coast and Aix-en-Provence this villa is all you need for a great escape to France.
There are many beautiful towns and villages in the vicinity of this French country holiday home; Cotignac, Salernes, Aups, truffle capital of Provence, and Tourtour, known as the ‘ village in the sky’ with breathtaking views and stunning sunsets. Entrecasteaux with its marvellous chateau and gardens and the 12th century Cistercian monastery, Abbey de Thoronet. Slightly further afield, the town of Lorgues hosts the best market in the area each Tuesday.
Lac de Ste Croix and the spectacular Gorge du Verdon for wind surfing, sailing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting are all within an hour of this charming French country holiday home. Also within the hour are the beaches of the Riviera, and the beautiful university town of Aix-en-Provence.
