Casa Traumuntana Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Casa Traumuntana has excellent views from its location in the Pollensa countryside over the surrounding landscape and Tramuntana Mountains. The villa is only a short drive from the old towns’ tapas restaurants and shops, and a little further from the fashionable eating places and beach at Puerto Pollensa. This impressive 4-bedroom house has a large private pool, an authentic stone exterior and well-designed interior. Air conditioning/heating in all of the bedrooms is provided.
With a fabulous garden this villa is designed with relaxed holiday living in mind. Days will languorously slip by in a haze of swimming in the pool, soaking up the sun and dining outdoors. White walls and wicker chairs create a beach feel, a feel continued indoors with the use of pales and sea blue colours. As the sun sinks behind the hills and the sky turns vivid shades of red and orange, this is the time to have a sun downer and just sit back and absorb the view. Sleek, contemporary and ideal for multigenerational with views of the Tramunana Mountains. Serenity and well-being are the keynotes stuck here. In creating this impressive country stone house every attention has been given to ensure the honey-coloured walls combined with individual chosen reclaimed materials decorating the country style interiors.

Bedrooms and bathrooms – On the ground floor are 2 twin bedrooms which share a separate bathroom adjacent to the lounge. The remaining twin bedroom and double bedroom are upstairs, and both have fantastic views of the nearby mountain range. You’ll also find 2 separate shower rooms by the hall.
Swimming pool, BBQ area and outside space – The large, private swimming pool, sun terrace and lawned gardens are surrounded by the Pollensa hillside, with magnificent views of the Tramuntana Mountain behind the house. You’ll have plenty of space to sunbathe, or enjoy a meal cooked on your very own brick BBQ. There’s also pleasant covered seating area on the front terrace overlooking the pool.
You can entertain in style in a choice of living and dining areas, either indoors or out. The main parts of the villa have been decorated using restful creams, whites and neutral colours for maximum relaxation. With flexible sleeping accommodation and wonderful larger than standard private heated swimming pool, this villa has everything to offer and is perfect for either families or large groups of friends that want to be close to town.Pollença is an attractive town in north east Mallorca, in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. With beautiful architecture to appreciate, such as the Calvari steps, the town is rich in history. Among its highlights are the ‘Pont Romà’, an ancient Roman bridge, the Mare de Deu dels Angels church with its famous rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The neighbouring port, Puerto de Pollença, lies to the north and has one of the area’s best beaches, with numerous bars and restaurants to explore in the vicinity. Puerto de Pollença also offers water-sports, a water park for children, and a golf course can also be found just outside the town.
Also to the north of Pollença is Cala Sant Vicenc, one of Mallorca’s smaller resorts, and home to three beaches: Cala Molins, Cala Barques and Cala Clara. The landscape is dramatic and hilly, with rugged cliffs and rocks, and its popularity with visitors has seen it develop some excellent restaurants, tapas bars and useful amenities.
Further down the coast, Alcúdia has a large marina, serving as a boarding point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. The town is considered one of the most attractive in the area, so don’t miss out on seeing its historic centre, visiting the open-air market or seeing Spain’s smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Many beautiful places can be found in the areas further inland, such as the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollença is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport around 60km away.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
