Villas Modus is an exciting example of the modernist architecture which has recently sprung up in this part of Jardins Victoria, Vilamoura. The holiday home is in peaceful location and overlooks the groomed landscape of the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course.
Before entering the villa, you will immediately notice the enormous glass panelled windows that allow a rich source of natural light to flood this contemporary luxury holiday home. The interior really benefits from this, as it’s incredibly spacious open plan living and dining areas make you feel as if you are in a villa twice the size. The kitchen, as suspected, is fully equipped with all the latest gadgets to ensure you and your guests can whip up a superb feast. The ground floor is concluded with an en-suite double bedroom. Using the zig-zag staircase, you can access the first floor. Here you will find three sophisticated and stylish en-suite double bedrooms, two of which have access to exclusive balconies which are high enough up for you to be able to see for miles.
Continuing up the stairway you will discover a rooftop promenade, fitted out with sofas and a table. This is a great space to make the most of the setting sun, where you will be able to see it diffuse across the skyline at dusk.
Outside there is a more traditional setting. An alfresco dining area, with a barbeque, is shaded by an overlap in the villa and makes outdoor meals extremely agreeable. There is ample seating, scattered around the swimming pool and even a few plots of grass, ideal for morning Yoga (if that’s your thing!). If you, or your guests, are in pursuit of further entertainment, there is a discreet basement level where table tennis and a pool table are waiting to be used by those looking to exert some energy. If you’re in an indifferent mood and looking for something less strenuous, relax on the couch and stick a movie on the flat screen television and treat this room as a private cinema.  Vilamoura has a rich Roman history. An old fishing village and Roman Baths can be found in the town, where the walls tell the history of the destination, through their murals. Vilamoura is a trendy seaside town, that attracts a classy traveller. A host of prestigious yachts & boats swarm the Marina, which spills onto a strip of stylish bars, locally renowned restaurants and a casino. The glamour does not end there, as Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia – two alluringly sandy beaches, can be found a short walk away.
In terms of activities, by choosing Vilamoura you are certainly not handicapped. This region has a fine reputation amongst golf enthusiasts and has a number of championship courses to choose from. If you have any backhanded thoughts regarding golf, never fear, as Vilamoura has over fifty tennis courts for you to choose from. Numerous water-sports centres scattered within the town allow you to enjoy anything from snorkelling to boat trips.
