Casa Anda was built in 2007 in traditional style, 800m from Albufeira’s vibrant ‘Strip’. It is an extremely spacious villa that can sleep up to 10 guests in total. Albufeira is an ‘all-round’ holiday resort with beautiful beaches, a charming and historic Old Town, a beautiful marina and its hedonistic ‘Strip’, a long street crammed with buzzing bars and clubs. Casa Anda is centrally located for shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment. The closest beach is Praia de Oura, 2.7km away. Golf fans will be delighted to find excellent championship courses very close by.
Casa Anda is built over two levels with the living spaces, a games room, a bathroom and one bedroom on the lower floor. The comfortable furnishings are traditional in design, blending well with the decor. The open plan living and dining room boasts several sofas where you can relax and enjoy the television with international channels at the end of a busy day. The living room is a bright and airy space, drowned in natural sunlight. Double doors open to a very spacious, modern kitchen with a huge number of wooden cabinets, good appliances and a large breakfast table. It is a very sociable kitchen that the chef in your group will be delighted with.
The teenagers in your group will be very happy to find the billiard room for some healthy competition and fun. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom which boasts a double bed and direct access to the terrace. This room has use of a family bathroom with both a bath and shower.
A smart and stylish staircase takes you upstairs to the second level and the remaining bedrooms. The master bedroom suite enjoys a double bed, an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower and access to the balcony. This cheerful room is absolutely enormous and also enjoys a dressing area. There are another two very generous bedrooms, both offering twin beds and balcony access where you will enjoy some lovely views of the city. The bedrooms share a delightful family bathroom. In addition to this, the villa offers an open living and sleeping space with two sofabeds that you are welcome to use should you have more than 8 guests.
From the ground floor living space, you have access to a terrace for alfresco dining or your morning cup of coffee and the swimming pool terrace. The villa enjoys a 8m x 4m swimming pool, a paddling pool, ideal for small children, an outdoor shower, loungers on an astroturf bank and a built-in barbecue. Casa Anda enjoys an excellent, central location in Albufeira, close to restaurants, shops, a shopping centre and of course the buzzy, neon ‘Strip’. Though close to the ‘Strip’, the villa enjoys a quiet location where you can truly relax.
There are excellent beaches in Albufeira and the surrounding coastline including Praia da Oura, the closest to the villa, Praia do Peneco, Praia da Coelha, Praia de Sao Rafael, Praia da Falesia, Praia dos Arrifes, Praia do Castelo and Praia de Santa. Albufeira’s town beach of Praia do Peneco is reached through a tunnel through the cliffs or by taking an elevator from the beautiful promenade where you will enoy sensational sunset views. Tourists enjoy the journey to the beach. At low tide you can take some seriously long beach walks along the golden sandy coastline, admiring the red cliffs that back most of the beaches along the way. The fabulous Praia da Falesia is almost 6km long and takes roughly two hours to walk!
The cobbled warren of narrow streets in the Old Town is lined with charming restaurants, whitewashed houses and excellent, unique shops. It is very pretty in the evenings. There are over 100 restaurants Albufeira, many serving super fresh fish straight from the marina. The marina is a top-notch tourist destination in its own right. It is very modern and is brimming with luxury yachts, colourful fishing boats and excellent, chic restaurants as well as entertainment for the young ones such as bouncy castles and bowling.
From Casa Anda, you will enjoy visiting Loule, Silves and Faro Old Town. They all have their own charms together with historic churches and castles, markets, fabulous restaurants and friendly locals. There are numerous thrilling adventures to be had in the local theme parks, zoos, water parks and high ropes adventure courses. Golf fans are not forgotten as there are many world-class courses within easy reach.
Almancil is charming and typically Portuguese. It is brimming with cute cafes, restaurants, galleries displaying the local pottery and many artists workshops. The neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts the most attractive church in probably the whole of the Algarve. It is decorated with characteristic blue tiles telling the life of its patron saint, beautiful azulejo work dating back to 1730. Very close to the church is the local centro cultural which hosts a range of art exhibitions and musical performances.
