If you are looking for a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Villa Dimao is a great option. It is situated in a quiet, elevated position in Quarteira 3km from the sea, 7km from the Vilamoura Marina and 3.5km from Almancil. These distances take no time at all, yet you will feel so secluded and at peace in this lovely villa. The plot is huge and needless to say this 5-bedroom villa is incredibly spacious and comfortable.  The garden is absolutely beautiful, with lush and colourful mature planting. Where the villa is elevated, the garden has several levels. The pool is stunning and is surrounded by loungers and a very attractive rockery. The lush lawns are perfect for children wanting to play and are very pleasing on the eye. The terrace is decked with fabulous lounge furniture and an added attraction of a jacuzzi. You can always find a lovely quiet spot in this garden for a quiet cup of tea or to read your holiday book. It is so ideal if you have an extended family.  On the ground floor, the lounge is modern and very comfortable with an open-hearth fireplace. It is vast and so bright with several sets of doors letting in the light.  There are lovely views of the garden. The massive sofa is so squishy! The open-plan kitchen and dining area is very smart with every appliance you could wish for. The breakfast bar is great with lovely colourful bar stools. This leads to a wonderful terrace with an outdoor dining suite and a brick-built barbecue for alfresco dining. There are alluring views of the fabulous countryside. Two of the spacious bedrooms are on this level, one with twin beds and the other a double. They both have immaculate ensuite bathrooms.  On the lower ground floor, there is a further double bedroom and a twin and another smart bathroom. There is also a fantastic games room with two sofabeds and a great supply of gym equipment. The pool table will be very popular, and it is a wonderful place for children to watch a few movies if they are tired.  The upper floor is home to another wonderful, deluxe double bedroom with an ensuite and a lovely furnished terrace. The views get even better as you move up the villa.  This is such a wonderful villa where you can enjoy happy family time and get to the Algarve attractions in no time at all.Villa Dimao is in a lovely secluded location. It is 1.4km from a shop and less than 1km to a restaurant and café. The sandy Praia do Forte Novo is 3km away and the Vilamoura Marina 7km. It is on the way from Vilamoura to Almancil. There is so much to do in this area, both on the coast and exploring the wonderful historic villages.  Almancil is charming and typically Portuguese. The neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts the most attractive church in probably the whole of the Algarve. It is decorated with characteristic blue tiles telling the life of its patron saint, simply stunning azulejo work dating back to 1730! Very close to the church is the local Centro Cultural which hosts a range of art exhibitions and musical performances. The local pottery is also very famous.  Villa Dimao is in a wonderful position to take advantage of the fantastic beaches and golf in the area. The 5km Vale do Lobo stretch of golden sand has eye-catching terracotta cliffs backing it. On windy days the brilliant aqua sea will be dotted with surfers riding the waves to shore. This coastline is ideal for families with the huge expanses of sand. Watersports galore are on offer as well as fun inflatable rides. The villa is also close to the excellent Quinta do Lago lagoon where the water is calmer and warmer. Again there is a huge choice of watersports and waterside dining.  There are so many golf courses around, including the brilliant Quinta do Lago championship courses which perch on the edge of the marshy Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and the famous Old Course and Victoria Course of Vilamoura.  Vilamoura is very close by and has so much entertainment on offer, particularly at the stunning marina. The variety of chic, high-class restaurants and bars is immense. Many amazing boat trips can be booked to dolphin watch, fish, partake in watersports or simply to view the magnificent coastline.
