This magnificent villa is lavish, spacious and gives you your own private oasis just steps from the golden sands in the prestigious community of Puerto Los Cabos. San Jose del Cabo is a very short drive away offering gourmet dining, quaint boutiques and wonderful art galleries. Casa Tranquilidad certainly lives up to its name, offering privacy, peace and an ambience of sophisticated relaxation. Much love has been poured into this wonderful property and with eight bedrooms it sleeps up to sixteen guests, just perfect for extended families or a group of friends. It is absolutely perfect for special celebrations.
As soon as you arrive at Casa Tranquilidad you will appreciate the attention to detail and the beauty. The 26135 sqft of exquisite grounds are brimming with magnificent planting including a very colourful and inviting entrance. You will find palapa-shaded patios, a fabulous infinity pool, an inviting alfresco dining and lounge area with a bar and gas barbecue, fire pits, a large Jacuzzi for twelve, an outdoor stereo system and TV and fantastic panoramic vistas of the shimmering Sea of Cortez. Casa Tranquilidad is the perfect place to relax and listen to the soothing sound of the waves. The sunsets are unbelievable. Though the interior is rich, warm and wonderful, it will actually be difficult to move inside and leave this fabulous setting behind.
This luxurious villa is very spacious at 16483 sqft and is lavishly appointed. The vaulted beamed ceilings, opulent fabrics and rich wooden furniture excudes such a wonderful ambience throughout. The expansive living area is perfect for large groups and offers incredible comfort. Casa Tranquilidad was constructed in 2012 with entertainment and luxury in mind. Arizona flagstone floors run throughout with great appeal. The villa offers indoor dining as well as outdoor, a fantastic kitchen with huge appliances, various lounge areas and a delightful central atrium. There is a home theatre room with electric recliner seating for 12 as well as a library/den. The wine cellar is very useful. It is not difficult for guests to find their own space in this villa.
The glorious master suite boasts a sumptuous king-size bed, a terrace, private bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath as well as a magnificent ocean view. In the main villa there are a further 3 warm and welcoming bedrooms with comfy king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths, balconies and ocean views. There are two gorgeous twin rooms where the beds can also be converted to kings, again with terraces and private bathrooms. The last two suites are located in separate casitas. They are also beautiful and offer king-size beds, the option to add 2 twin beds in the living area and private bathrooms.
Though guests are unlikely to want to leave this stunning, sophisticated oasis of calm, guests have access to the exclusive Puerto Los Cabos Beach Club with its oceanfront swimming pool and restaurant and can also visit the Hotel El Ganzo Beach Club for an additional fee. Villa staff can provide professional catering services for guests. San Jose del Cabo is a laid back colonial gem, full of the magic of Old Baja and is the ‘mild’ sister of Cabo San Lucas. It lies in Baja California, 20 miles northeast of Cabo and offers a picture-postcard getaway. San Jose del Cabo has a rich and colourful history dating back to the 1700’s. For hundreds of years this was the only community at the tip of the peninsula with its natural fresh water oasis flowing into the beautiful palm-lined lagoons on the edge of the sea. It was the home to Indian communities before the colonization by the Spanish. Now it boasts splendid Spanish colonial character, an abundance of Mexican charm, secret courtyards, boutique shopping, a beautiful church, wonderful art galleries and a fabulous gourmet dining scene. The main plaza connects the charming streets and is wonderful to meander through, browsing the galleries and jewellery design shops. There are many restaurants, cocktail bars and craft breweries to tempt you. In the main season there is a wonderful Thursday evening Art Walk when the plaza is alive with artists and their works, wine tastings and music and dance performances.
Cabo San Lucas is located at the most southern point of the peninsula. Sailing and water sports, whale watching trips and visits to to the fascinating coves and rock formations are very popular. El Arco or The Arch has to be seen and photographed! Visitors enjoy camel rides in the Desert Park Natural Reserve where the guides explain the culture as well as provide a wonderful Mexican feast. Cabos San Lucas’ beaches are amazing and offer watersports including jet-skiing, banana boating, snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing, kitesurfing and diving as well as colourful beach bars and restaurants. Two firm favourites are Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach.
When staying in San Jose del Cabo you can enjoy horseriding and golf. The peninsula is also now a big-time golf destination with more than a dozen championship courses offering a unique desert-meets-the-sea setting. Services @ Casa Tranquilidad

Villa staff can provide cooking services for $10/person (breakfast), $12/person (lunch), $20/person (dinner) plus the cost of food (must be paid in cash to the villa caretaker). Can be arranged directly with villa staff during travel, however prior notice would be advisable. Gratuity additional and recommended.
