Located just 4k from Aiguablava beach, this charming villa is situated in a peaceful and tranquil area, with lovely views of the Balearic Sea. This four-bedroom property sleeps up to eight guests comfortably, making it an ideal choice for a family, friends or multiple couples travelling together and wanting to experience what the beautiful Costa Brava has to offer. Built on one level, Casa Miel provides a beautiful home-away-from-home for guests. At the centre of the house is a spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, with terrace doors that open out onto the lovely patio area. The indoor dining table seats up to ten, and there is also plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge area, providing plenty of room for guests to get together. Within the main house, there are three spacious double bedrooms, as well as two well-equipped shower rooms. There is also a separate studio consisting of a bedroom and shower room; this would make a fantastic room for older children/teenagers. Each of the spacious bedrooms has been stylishly designed, providing a private haven for those afternoon siestas!
Outside, the sparkling blue pool forms the central focus point and will provide hours of splash-filled fun for kids to enjoy. There are plenty of comfortable sun loungers around the pool for guests to soak up the Spanish sun with a good book. Several outdoor seating areas mean that guests won’t feel on top of one another and can have space and privacy if they want. A large shaded outdoor dining table also provides a spot for guests to enjoy delicious alfresco meals together. With the beautiful Aiguablava beach just 4k away, as well as the bustling town of Begur located very close by drive away, there will be something for everyone at Casa Miel. Located within 4k of Aiguablava beach, Casa Miel enjoys a fantastic and peaceful location. Widely regarded as one of the most stunning beaches in Costa Brava, guests can snorkel to their hearts’ content, or hire a boat and visit some of the nearby coves for a change of scenery. The beaches of Sa Riera and Sa Tuna are located close by, and there are also plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from, where guests can enjoy delicious seafood and potter about the charming village shops.
Just a short drive away is Begur, a hidden gem of the ever-popular Costa Brava; this town has a reputation as a stylish holiday choice, with a wide range of quality restaurants and shops, all offering a taste of sophisticated Spain. Begur has become very popular with the Spanish, many of whom travel from the city of Barcelona, which, if you feel like stretching your legs is located just 1-hour North of Begur! Located around a fifty-minute drive from the stunning city of Girona (50 km) or just over an hour (131 km) from the ever-buzzing Barcelona, Begur offers a fantastic location for all.
Begur is overflowing with Spanish charm and has a plethora of things to do from fantastic local eateries and restaurants to boutique shopping and much more. There are of course the ruins of the Castell de Begur which makes for an interesting hike. Begur is conveniently located within a slew of local Spanish towns and villages giving families and explorers plenty of things to do.
If history is your passion, then perhaps the nearby villages of Regencos and Púbol will interest you. They are both oozing with medieval architecture, especially Púbol which is home to many landmarks associated with Salvador Dalí, including the ruins of the castle that he gifted to his Russian wife, Gala. Begur is also local to many golf courses, two of which are located within 10km of the village.
Begur is known for having a good nightlife, with certain areas of the town having popular cocktail bars and nightclubs which is ideal for those who enjoy letting their hair down. Furthermore, for children and those adults who are young at heart there is a water theme-park in Begur called Platja d’Aro; packed with fun slides and flumes!
