Full of glass and light, this understated home offers a relaxed dining space, again with the original natural timber throughout, while there is ample al fresco dining space – from the veranda to the single flower framed courtyard in local stone. Guests may enjoy the evening chill of sea breezes along with nibbles and a glass of wine overlooking the gardens at the end of a busy day.
The bedroom offers two double beds, which can also be set up as twin beds; this space offers ultimate tranquillity and an area for restoration – both cool in the summer (air con throughout) and warm in the winter (heating if required), the beds are finished with crisp, quality bed linen and fluffy towels, whilst the large bathroom offers “his and hers” sinks and a large bathtub.
The kitchen leaves no detail uncovered; from coffee machine to dishwasher, to tumble dryer – every practicality has been thought of, whilst providing a charming space for preparing meals or snacks.
Additionally, guests are entitled to a free breakfast at the hotel – to make their stay that little bit more comfortable – the hotel breakfast offers every choice imaginable, from hot to cold options, from local to English style breakfast, ideal for refuelling after a fresh morning swim!

During the Spanish civil war, Port de Pollença’s lighthouse was turned into a military base, from where German seaplanes flew, notably attacking Guernica, inspiring an anti-war painting by Picasso.
A Spanish military airbase is still stationed on the same site – making the sight of seaplanes common, and a delight to children playing on the beach. Wealthy families from Madrid and Palma have built beautiful retreats along the stretch known as Pine Walk in the early part of the 20th century.
Today, holidaymakers will stroll along the beguiling Pine Walk, with its sublime views of the bay, with the romantic knowledge that Agatha Christie walked the same walk back in the 1930’s gathering inspiration for her story, Problems at Pollensa Bay.

Cycling is a significant part of the tourism trade in this part of Majorca – it has become a central hub for those wanting to make the most of the diverse array of northern routes and rugged, beautiful scenery. With safe, yet challenging, mountain roads and year-round temperate weather, cycling enthusiasts will find themselves among a like-minded biking community.
Hiking is likewise very much a draw for visitors to the region; a beautiful hike being the route to the former monastery Lluc, situated in the Tramuntana mountains – along yet wonderfully rewarding path offering unspoilt views of luscious nature.
Golfers will be very much at home; the Golf Pollença is a nine-hole course on the main Palma road as well as the eighteen hole Alcananda, near Alcûdia.
Whether it be pilates, or paddle boarding, kite surfing or chartering a private boat to explore hidden corners of the coastline, the opportunities for sports and activities at all levels are endless – Watersports Mallorca is the spot to head for, complete with equipment hire and coaching if required. The promenade next to Port de Pollença is usually a bustle of rollerbladers, walkers, cyclists and families just out for a stroll, whilst at the end of the beach, next to Pine Walk, visitors will come across the stone sculpture workshops – courses include open-air classes in sculpture, complete with daily yoga sessions and one to one coaching.
Not so much known for its nightlife, this corner of Mallorca is very much a family-friendly destination, however many of the restaurants offer live music and party nights. The range of eateries is diverse, while all ages will be welcome in restaurants.
