Villa Ados is a lovely home surrounded by beautiful tropical plant life, palm trees and well-kept hedges. The home is a wonderful location to enjoy the island from and nearby the towns of Speightstown and Holetown.
The home’s private plunge pool is a lovely space to relax in. Here, you can easily spend all day dipping in and out of the pool and unwinding in the small shaded seating area beside it. Guests will also be able to make use of the large central swimming pool and its surrounding deck that is shared by all of the guests staying in the community.
There are more opportunities to relax outdoors with an upstairs dining terrace complete with small seating area, striking hand-painted mural and flowering trees. Outdoor dining is encouraged and cosy wicker chairs placed on the terrace make for laidback dining under the stars. Inside, a colourful living area beautifully brightens up the home and provides a marvellous space to de-stress and socialise in. White walls are complemented by bright bursts of colour and lovely light enhancing windows. The contemporary room benefits from striking tropical wall art and opens out beside the plunge pool.
Adjacent to the living room sits the dining room which is accessible via a few steps. Flowers decorate the dining table in a casual and pleasant dining area. All bedrooms come with large cosy beds for a restful night’s sleep after days spent in the sunshine.Earthworks Pottery is an art lover’s delight only a 16-minute drive away from the home. The store and workshop create unique pieces that are sold all over the island. See an array of tableware, ornaments and plates decorated in vivid colours and traditional designs. Earthworks allows you to see the pottery process for yourself, from creating the moulds to painting patterns onto dried pottery. If you do choose an item to take home, you can request for it to be shipped so you don’t have to worry about transporting it yourself.
If you desire to dine out for the night, head to the Tides Restaurant which is only a 6-minute drive away. The restaurant is situated right by the sea and so boasts brilliant views over the coastline and calming sounds of the ocean. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and aid in creating the warm ambience of the venue.
Some of the most tantalising dishes on the menu include lobster risotto, sea bass, Thai shrimp curry, tuna poke and sticky toffee pudding. The catch of the day is a fresh and mouth-watering delight and vegetarian options are also available. The drinks match the quality of the food as the Tides possesses a fine wine list and excellent cocktails that you can devour at the bar while waiting for your table.
