Villa Bondye Barbados

Upon entering Villa Bondye via walking up the quaint stone pathway, you will be amazed by the glorious nature that surrounds it. The home has been custom designed using both local and traditional materials and sits on nearly half an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens
The villa contains a beautiful infinity-edge swimming pool and a stunning shellstone sun terrace. Vivid trees and hedges beautify the villa’s outside garden and some of the trees wonderfully light up at night as well as the lining of the villa’s exterior.
A cluster of trees by the pool provide privacy from the neighbouring golf course and a hammock held up by two palm trees offers the fabulous luxury of peacefully swinging the days away. There is an outside dining and lounge area finished with royal and pale blues that is ideal for al-fresco breakfasts, lunches and dinners. All of the bedrooms are sizeable and bright and benefit from en-suite bathrooms. The master suite contains a walk-in wardrobe and a lovely shellstone balcony. You can switch from having breakfast in bed to having breakfast on your own private balcony while taking in the views of Barbados. The bedrooms also benefit from housing plenty of storage space which will make you feel right at home, as well as desks, tables and chairs to use if you have some organising to do.
The living room has striking hints of vibrant royal blue on the furnishings and doors on three of its sides, all opening out onto a covered terrace. Just a 30-minute drive away you will find The Barbados Boardwalk on the south coast of the island. If you want a calming place to go for a morning run or a relaxing afternoon stroll, you will find what you’re looking for here. The boardwalk is 1km long and is kept in a good condition extremely close to the coast and immersed in nature. There are a plethora of restaurants nearby if you want to devour some local delicacies after a spot of light exercise.
One of the most popular attractions on the whole island is Oistins Fish Fry which is well worth the 35-minute drive from the villa. Even visitors not too keen on seafood will have a hard time resisting the renowned fresh fish served here. Food is typically available from around seven at night at this rustic eatery, with a mouth-watering selection of tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, flying fish, lobster and more. All fish can be either grilled or fried and is cooked and prepared right in front of your eyes. At the end of the casual evening, guests are welcome to use their fish scraps to feed the local turtles.
During the weekends Oistins Fish Fry becomes a buzzing and lively venue with the music played ranging from Reggae to Country genres.
