Enveloped in tranquil nature and just 15 minutes from some of the most privileged areas of the Costa Brava, Villa Alondra is a luxurious old farmhouse with a modern twist, a stone’s throw from beaches such as Aiguablava, Tamariu and Llafranc!
Renovated as recently as 2017, the villa oozes contemporary style, entwined with the traditional character of this quaint farmhouse! The main living room draws perfectly on the property’s history, with the original wooden beams overhead and rustic stone interior walls fusing beautifully with Scandinavian style modern furniture, including two large sofas in front of the TV, alongside a full wall of fabulous glass doors, flooding the open space with natural light. The games room is similarly styled, with a warm, bright ambience and of course a pool table in the centre! There are several dining and seating areas throughout the villa, giving you absolute freedom for meal times and relaxation options! The large kitchen has an enchanting traditional style, with a range cooker, wonderful dining table and room for plenty of chefs!
There are seven bedrooms in total, with one double and an adjoining single on this ground floor. This is the ideal set up for parents and a young child, offering a little extra space but near enough to keep an eye on the youngsters, and the kids’ room even has a little play-area! The rooms enjoy a beautiful bathroom with direct access to the garden! The remaining rooms are all on the first floor and include three double rooms and one twin room, three of which have their own private bathroom facilities! Each room is a little unique, offering everything from a desk or lounge to access to a magnificent balcony overlooking the garden. The final bedroom is found in the enchanting annexe, which features both a cosy living room with fireplace and an open kitchen on the ground floor, and a beautiful bedroom on the first-floor, complete with an ensuite bathroom.
And the garden itself leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, with so many quiet spots for relaxation and spending special moments together. The huge private pool is the ideal place to gather, with tons of sun-loungers all around it for soaking up some rays and taking a snooze in the mild afternoons! Alfresco dining can be enjoyed beside the pool and on several of the terraces surrounding the house!

Meanwhile Barcelona is under 90-minutes away, and with so many museums, galleries, sublime historical and architecturally beautiful buildings, and of course the breath-taking Park Güell, makes for a perfect day out!
The Costa Brava, and indeed Catalonia as a whole, is famous for its wonderful beaches, fabulous gastronomy and calm, steady pace of life.
For the adventurous types, this villa is perfectly located, surrounding by many miles of coastal paths perfect for strolling on a beautiful day.
