Casa Pallerida is a traditional home, located just inland from the popular town of Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava. Nestled in the hills of a peaceful residential area, it offers a calming retreat from the more energetic towns nearby. The villa has four bedrooms for eight guests, with a large terrace and private pool.
Throughout the villa, natural light floods in, bringing a light and airy feel to the traditionally decorated rooms. The ground floor is home to the open plan living and dining area, with the traditional décor giving you a more authentic Catalan experience. The living area compromises of two sofas framing a large fireplace and television, this is the perfect place to settle into a cosy evening, watching an old favourite on the television after a busy day exploring a new area! The adjacent dining room has a table for guests to dine together and offers access to the properties terrace, whilst ensuring there is plenty of natural light filling the room. Two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom also occupy the ground floor, one of the double bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, for a little added luxury. Each of the bedrooms is simple in its design, but all make for great spots to enjoy a good read before a restful sleep.
Upstairs the villa has a further two spaces, a twin room completes the bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen means you can cook some amazing home favourites or perhaps even try some new local dishes. The kitchen also has a small dining area; this is great for guests who enjoy a little company during cooking, or even just a spot to grab a snack from.
Casa Pallerida’s outdoor areas are great for groups to enjoy each others company in. A large outdoor terrace is a home to the traditional barbeque area and al-fresco dining table. You can spend your evenings chatting and laughing with your loved ones as the barbeque warms you through the night before gazing up and the beautiful stars that appear in clear summer evenings.  The villa also has a private pool for guests to make the most of, surrounded with a patio and sun loungers for your use.The villa can be found in the quiet residential area of Aiguaviva Parc; this peaceful neighbourhood is ideal for those seeking a little tranquillity during their stay on the Costa Brava. The nearby town of Lloret de Mar offers all the amenities you may need during your stay and is easily accessed by car or public transport.
Girona is famous for its amazing history, delicious food and wonderful music; there is no shortage of culture in this part of the world. Lloret de Mar is a popular town in the region, known for its vibrant nightlife and gorgeous beach. Wander the towns ancient streets and stumble across some amazing restaurants where you can delve into the region’s culinary scene. Get your fill of tapas and try some of the local wines before enjoying an evening stroll along the seafront, listening to the gentle breaking of waves.
During the summer Lloret de Mar is jam-packed with festivities, theatre shows, and concerts can be found within the town’s parks and public squares. These amazing traditions fill the town with energy and are highly recommended to all. For a bit of Catalan culture head to a Spanish guitar show, the traditional folk music is truly beautiful to listen to, and the musicians are known to fill the air with emotion, it’s a wonderful experience for all to enjoy.
The Costa Brava is full of fantastic walking tracks along the coastline. The tracks often follow the coastline and lead you through forests towards quiet beaches and coves only accessible by boat or foot. This is a great way to spend a day, be sure to bring a picnic and a snorkel, as the quiet beaches a teeming with sea life just below the surface.
For something a little further afield, why not visit the regions most famous city, Barcelona. About an hour’s drive away; the city is accessible for a day trip. Explore the winding streets in the old town, before settling at the street-side bar for a refreshing drink. The city is famous for its unique architecture; we recommend you head to Park Güell for some great examples of this, or even Le Segrada Familia, for a breathtaking experience.
