This lovely 19th century château, 5 minutes from Beaune and in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, is ideal for your holidays with family and friends, for weddings and other special occasions. It is a perfect base from which to visit Beaune and its region, discover the vineyards and wine cellars, go cycling, hot air ballooning or simply relax by the swimming pool in the tranquillity of the park.
The château was originally the home of the very first wine family in Burgundy, the Champy family.
The current owner, passionate about architecture, history and renovations, has spent the last 10 years lovingly restoring the château, while respecting its original character. Today, the château retains all the charm and authenticity of the 19th century, combined with all the necessary modern creature comforts.
7 spacious bedrooms and 6 modern bathrooms are at your disposal, as well as a gym and massage room. All the château bedrooms are air-conditioned, with flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free WIFI throughout. Within the château is a large, comfortable lounge, a library and a dining room. A professional kitchen is perfect for preparing your meals. This first-floor suite with two bedrooms faces the sunrise and is named after Empress Sissi of Austria and Hungary. It includes:
