Holidays home are meant to encourage relaxation, to offer the right amount of homey touches and to offer the optimal enjoyment of the sun. This cosy villa, complete with a vast backyard and the private pool does just that.
The inside is bright, airy and a mix of modern and more traditional furnishings. The open plan living and dining room are cosy, with enough room for everyone to gather around the table for a meal or relax on the couch to watch the cable television. The kitchen is in a separate room but features a pass-through window between the kitchen and the dining area, making serving meals and tidying the table a breeze. This also means the cook is never out of the conversation, of course, you could hire a cook service should you wish for an additional fee.
Not only boasting an incredibly conveniently placed window, the kitchen has everything you need such as a gas hob and gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, coffee machine and toaster. The utility room also houses a washing machine.
The bedrooms are bright and white with wooden finishings and furnishings, which creates a real Mediterranean holiday feel. Each bedroom has two single beds, which can be pushed close together to create the illusion of a double. Both rooms open out onto the patio by the pool, so it is unlikely the private pool will be left uninhabited for long.  The bathrooms, both are incredibly modern, continue this light and airy feel that is felt throughout the house. One bathroom has a bath and shower and the other a shower.  Of course, a lot of the time at the villa is spent outside. Whether basking in the glorious sun on the deck chairs by the pool or enjoying an ice-cold beverage one of the two terraces, one of which is covered. As you follow the sun, from terrace to sun chair, to another terrace, a barbeque is a perfect way to end (or start) a day, with fresh, local cuisine cooking. High fencing and mature trees create a private oasis when you are outside, embracing your own little bubble in Spain.
Location is one of the most spectacular things about this villa, less than one kilometre from the town of Calpe and just two kilometres from the beach.This villa is located less than one kilometre from Calpe, a town on Spain’s Mediterranean coast that is renowned for sandy beaches, sea pools and medieval ruins, like that of the Pobla de Ifac. The town has an incredibly rich history, with its position on the coast having attracted many voyagers and settlers throughout history, in fact, remains of Iberian tribes have been found around the town. During the 14th to 17th centuries, those who lived in the area were subjected to attacks by pirates, and in the 18th-century peace enabled the town to regenerate and become the tourist location we know and visit today. All of this history provides glorious tales over dinner and offers plenty of stunning attractions, such as the ancient town centre next to the Moorish quarter and the church known as Iglesia Vieja, Valencia’s only remaining example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture.
This history-rich town also boasts stunning beaches, in fact, it is said to have some of the most beautiful sandy beaches along the Costa Blanca coast, such as Playa de la Fosa, Arenal-Bol and La Fossa-Levante.
The cuisine on offer reflects the history and civilisations that have lived in this area, such as Celts, Iberians, Greeks, Romans and Muslims.
Calpe is at the heart of the Costa Blanca, which means there are plenty of options when it comes to exploring surrounding areas, and the tourist magnet is easily accessible to the A-7 motorway, making for stress-free day-trips. Should you not want to drive, there are also public transport options within five kilometres of the villa.
