Imagine spending your days splashing around by a private pool, topping up your tan poolside and reading a good book in the day bed. This could be how you spend your days if you stay at Villa Veronica. This home away from home can accommodate four guests and offers two spacious bedrooms.
As you enter the home, you’re welcomed into a contemporary but cosy getaway, where the bright sun streams in the large windows. The living and dining space are in one room, offering seating for all guests. Everyone can nestle up on the couch, watching a movie on the flat-screen television. Meals can be enjoyed on the indoor dining table or outside on the patio that the living space opens up to.
The Villa has a modern kitchen, with everything you need to cook up a feast with local delicacies – there’s even a coffee maker for a fresh brew to start your day.
The two bedrooms are sizeable and offer plenty of storage so you can hang up your party dresses and fill the drawers with your swimwear.
The Villa has one bathroom, which again has modern touches and is a decent size.
Of course, with any villa located in a sun-drenched spot the outdoor area is something worth writing home about. The private pool sits front and centre, surrounded by sun loungers on each side so sunseekers can follow the sun all day long. There’s also plenty of shade, from the large umbrella to the daybed in the garden. There’s a sizeable garden as well, half grass and half paved. There’s also a large covered patio, perfect for seeking respite from the sun and as a place to enjoy all meals of the day. 

The Canary Islands are renowned for its beautiful year-round weather and volcanic and beachy landscapes – and Lanzarote is one of the best of these islands to visit. First things first, is the weather. Stunning sun-drenched beaches and cities all year long, it doesn’t matter when you visit. Mid winter escape? Great idea.
There’s so much to do on the island, starting with the capital, Arrecife. It’s a bustling port city on the east coast that was once a small fishing village and now a haven for shoppers with boutiques, high-end retail outlets and bargains – everything for everyone.
Of course, there’s more than shopping on this beautiful island, is boasts some of the most unique and breathtaking landscapes. Timanfaya National Park’s rocky landscape is a must visit. This was created by volcanic eruptions in the 1730s. There’s plenty to see in this area, including Islet of Hilario, a volcano and geyser, Montanas del Fuego, another volcano, and Playa del Paso, a black sand beach.
No surprises, if you’re heading here you are looking to sun yourself so a good beach is a must. The top beaches to visit include, Playa Francesa, Playa de Papagayo, Playa Chica, Playa de Famara and Playa Flamingo. All of which offer something different, for holiday makers seeking relaxation at a more secluded spot to family-friendly beaches with plenty of facilities.
