Nestled in the rolling terrain of the Cotswolds AONB, Wisteria Country House is a spacious and unique holiday home for families and friends alike, with five ensuite bedrooms, a games room and huge living areas! 
This cottage fuses the comfort and charm of an English Country House with the elegance and luxury of an exclusive hotel, with a log fire, canopied and four poster beds and beautifully landscaped gardens with gazebos, orchards, and an Italianate garden and terrace, alongside a pool, spa and games room! After a gentle drive along the yew-flanked private drive you will reach a gravelled forecourt and upon stepping inside will be greeted by a complimentary welcome pack, offering a taste of Cotswolds luxury, all produce is sourced from local farms and businesses.
In the welcoming entrance-hall you will immediately notice the rocking horse, a doll’s house and under the stairs, the children’s den, with a dressing-up box and puppet theatre! Within, comprehensive living areas include a drawing room with a Gothic arched open fireplace, a games room with a 65” plasma TV with surround sound and a dining room with the potential to seat up to 20 guests! The enormous kitchen features under-floor heating, a large island unit, a range cooker, two dishwashers, microwave, a huge fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser and a drinks fridge.
The first three of the five bedrooms are found on this ground floor, while the remaining two are on the first floor. All five feature the same deluxe furnishing, with a range of mahogany tables, ornate chaise-longues, sofas, chairs, writing tables a Venetian glass mirror and a lovely Louis XVI chair! There are two double rooms and three twin rooms, including an array of magnificent king-size four-poster beds, nineteenth century French beds and a fabulous half tester bed, hung in a blue and white. Two of the ground-floor bedrooms have direct access to the garden, putting the warm, fresh air of the countryside at your fingertips. Each bedroom features a warm and elegant ensuite bathroom, each entirely marble-tiled, with marble-top vanity units, an invigorating power-shower, big mirror, heated towel rail stocked with fluffy white towels and bathrobes. All toiletries are produced by Elemis.
Your private garden features two large terraces (a vine-covered pergola accessed from the drawing room and a double bedroom, and the other from the kitchen, the games room and a twin room) and is the perfect spot for soaking up a little sunshine and the perfectly fresh air of the Cotswolds! With a croquet lawn and children’s play area, complete with a swing and seesaw, kids of all ages will find the space and facilities to enjoy the fresh air!
On this fabulous estate you also have access to: a gym featuring a running machine, power plate, exercise balls, rowing machine, cross trainer, cables, free weights and an exercise bike; a heated pool with floats for children, loungers and a private garden with seating, and; a spa with several treatment rooms offering reflexology, massages, pedicures, manicures and facials!In the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, Wisteria Country House is a hugely spacious and unique, attracting guests back year after year!

In the surrounding landscape you will find endless opportunities for an active day out with all the family, including: the Cotswold Wildlife Park, the Cogges Farm Museum, Birdland, the Dragonfly Maze, Blenheim Palace and the Oxford Story, to name a few, as well as two different Go Karting options within an hour!
On a sunny day you should definitely experience the fantastic scenery on a hike – be sure to take a picnic, there are endless perfect spots to sit, relax, and take in the breath-taking views across the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the country! We can supply you with maps of great walks suitable for all ages, and we even have mountain bikes for those who prefer pedal power! Both ‘The Wild Rabbit’ and the multi-award winning ‘The Plough’ (dog-friendly) pubs in Kingham serve excellent food, around 3 miles away, and there are many, many more just a short cycle away.
Shopping is available in both Oxford and Cheltenham town centres, as well as at the Bicester Outlet Village. Local produce can be purchased from several of the local farms, including at Bibury Trout Farm where you can actually catch it yourself!
