Villa Baldo is a charming five bedroomed home offering an enticing blend of traditional and contemporary – along with charming outdoor spaces, set just moments from the coast.
This gorgeous villa feels immediately home-like, with its pretty facade clad in local stone, timber doors and windows and romanic Juliet style balcony, overlooking the uniquely shaped pool.
The pool is finished with elegant steps in the roman style, with pretty tiles and a stunning canal style bridge – whilst there is a stylish covered dining terrace – fragrant with fruit trees and terracotta potted plants. Guests will sit back and enjoy a breakfast of locally baked bread and pastries after a refreshing morning swim, or perhaps a glass of local wine as the sun softens in the evening.
From the upper terrace, guests can recline in tranquillity as the soft sea breezes offer a cooling aura – far reaching sea views make this a sublime spot. Covered benches and intimate bistro table sets offer ample choice for tranquil moments.
The interiors at Villa Baldo are charmingly traditional yet offer every contemporary comfort. The open plan living space has a home-like ease to it, with a charming antique dresser, soft buttery yellow walls, lace curtains and exposed brick work. Open plan dining flows into the living space – whilst guests can wander out onto the terrace.
Tiled flooring, timber furnishings and a traditional Croatian feel characterise this stunning villa: all the modern touches are in place: air conditioning, wifi, ample parking space and an abundance of quality bedlinen and towels.
Five bedrooms comprise two double beds and five singles in total – offering simple yet luxurious accommodation for up to nine guests in total.
The kitchen is striking in its simplicity, offering a bijou space for preparing simple meals, whilst indoor and outdoor living seam to blend seamlessly into one another whilst the soft canary yellow of the interiors and walnut finishes offer a country feel.

Brac airport is only twenty kilometres distance, meaning guests can simply arrive, and after a small drive drop and relax the tempo into the Croatian way of life.
Sumartin is a small town on the easternmost cape on Brač island, with an intriguing historical heritage, founded in the seventeenth century by Dalmation pilgrims, today the residents of Sumartin speak with their own dialect.
The town is known for its Franciscan monastery and church of St. Martin which attracts history lovers, whilst the port is the gateway to Brač. When it comes to coastal attractions, this region is hard to beat, with beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters, visitors can enjoy long stretches of unspilt coast land.
In and around Sumartin visitors will chance upon hidden bays (Rasotica, Zukovik, Radovanja, Studena, Zvirje and Spilice) offering both sandy and pebble beach stretches and coves.As with all Dalmatian towns, Sumartin hosts several summer events, the most popular of which is the Lady of the Angels festivity held on August 2nd.
Those who enjoy dalmatian cooking and island specialties can visit restaurants “Bernardo” and “Dalmatino”.
