Villa Galic is a newly built and contemporary home near the famous Croatian city of Split. Split is known for its glittering beaches, enchanting historical landmarks and enticing nightlife and is only 30 km from Villa Galic. The home lies amid the countryside, with the surrounding area decorated by nature and fenced.
A beautiful range of trees including a vibrant pink blossom tree line the pathway that leads up to the home. Villa Galic sleeps up to eight guests across three spacious bedrooms that all come with a private en suite bathroom and boasts two sizeable living rooms. The home’s interior boasts neutral colours enriched by splashes of bold colour – bright red in one of the living rooms and black in one of the bathrooms, showcasing the villa’s luxurious yet distinctive style. The ground floor is modern, spacious, airy and lets in plenty of natural light. A rustic stone wall in the living area adds a homely feel. A sophisticated candlelit dining space for eight in the interior kitchen is ideal for charming get-togethers. Upstairs, the colour palette is neutral and the bedrooms benefit from laminate flooring and cosy homely rugs.
The large private swimming pool is an excellent place to cool off from the hot sunshine. The pool possesses lovely and relaxing surroundings including a row of sun loungers, a dining table for six and a laidback lounge. Spending all day under the sunshine will be effortless. There’s also a wonderful seating area on the balcony where you can get even closer to the warm sun rays. An exterior lounge on the veranda is a beautiful opportunity for al fresco meals. The garden possesses a grill, bread oven and barbecue equipment where tasty snacks can be prepared. Outside, views over the oak and pine forests can be enjoyed as well as the Mediterranean trees in the garden.While staying at Villa Galic, you’ll be lucky enough to be only a 35-minute drive away from the wonderful city of Split. Diocletian’s Palace is one of the largest attractions in the city and is frequented for its imposing magnificence. The inspiring site will have you wondering what an amazing example of ancient craftsmanship it is!
Take a walk back in time and marvel at this impressive ancient building that dates all the way back to the fourth century. The beautiful building was originally constructed as a palace for the Roman Emperor Diocletian and today is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and makes up half of Split’s old town. Game of Thrones fans will recognise the palace from the hit show’s fourth season. While here, you will find spectacular sights at every corner you turn!
National park Krka is a 40-minute drive away from Villa Galic. The gorgeous park is one of only two in Croatia that possesses beautiful lakes and waterfalls. Krka is an idyllic natural paradise ideal for spending the afternoons simply wandering around. The Krka river is located in Dalmatia and forms into picturesque waterfalls which you can swim amongst. It’ll be easy to spend the entire day at Krka as there are plenty of local eateries to retreat to.
