Villa Rihards is located in the popular port and resort town of Hvar. This is known to be one of the most beautiful and sunniest destinations in Croatia, and is famous for it’s vineyards and lavender fields. The villa is located right in the city centre within walking distance of the beach, local historical sites and restaurants.
The property has 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so it can accommodate up to 6 people, making it ideal for a family holidays or a friends’ getaway.
Villa Rihards has a lovely modern décor with stone feature walls showing throughout the downstairs living space, giving it a lovely flow from the inside to the outside of the property. The villa is set over 3 floors, after entering through the charming stone courtyard you will enter in to the properties main living space on the ground floor, this light and modern open plan area contains a fully equipped kitchen, roomy dining area and comfy lounge. Through the kitchen you will find a small utility room for your convenience. On the first floor you will come across two light and spacious double rooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a shared bathroom. The third double room is located on the top floor, this bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom and a terrace where you can take a seat and enjoy the scenery of the hills and town. Through the living room you can access the private garden and stone courtyard area where there is an outside dining table for you to enjoy the sun or to get everyone one together for dinner on a nice warm evening.
There is free parking available outside of the villa and there is air-conditioning and Wi-Fi access throughout the property.This beautiful centrally located villa is a fantastic place to choose for your Croatian holiday.
Villa Rihards is located in Hvar city centre, on the south-western coast of the Dalmatian island of Hvar. This popular summer location has a great climate with a lot of sunshine hours throughout the year. There are plenty of beaches to choose from on the island. Within a 15 minute walk you can reach Bonj beach located near Hotel Amfora, this small pebble beach is nestled in a pretty bay with clear water and shaded areas from the fragrant pine trees. It is also surrounded by a number of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy.
Dubovica beach is located 8km from Hvar town and is one of the most visited and picturesque beaches on the island, it is located in a large secluded bay surrounded by trees. You can reach this area by car or by catching a boat from Hvar’s harbour. This spacious beach has clear blue water and is a popular site for diving and snorkelling.
The excellent location of this villa gives you a great chance to explore the rustic cobbled streets, alleyways and historical sites in the charming old town of Hvar. St. Stephens Square, locally known as Hvarska Pjaca, is the largest town square in all of Dalmatia and is surrounded by examples of Venetian and Renaissance architecture. The square is lined with cafes, restaurants and shops but the site that stands out is the beautiful 16th Century Cathedral of St. Stephen. Hvar’s Venetian fortress is located on the hill above Hvar town centre, this gentle and scenic 20 minute walk uphill is well worth the journey for the rewarding majestic views. From here you will get the best views of the old town and the turquoise sea surrounding the Pakleni Islands.
Hvar’s countryside has plenty to offer and is known for it’s lavender fields and vineyards. The best time of year to see the stunning lavender fields is June and July, and the most popular lavender fields are located in Brusje. These can be reached by car or you can even book a tour to make the most of the day. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase various lavender products including lavender ice cream! The vineyards are dotted all over the island of Hvar, the island has ideal conditions for producing quality wine, making it one of Croatia’s top wine making areas. The southern side of the island focuses on red wines while the central parts of the island are famous for white wines. There are many wine tasting tours available from Hvar so you can sit back and relax in the warm weather with a lovely glass of wine in your hand.
