Villa Tuk is an attractive and modern home that looks out onto the Adriatic Sea and the gorgeous peninsula of Istria. Located in the desirable area of Crikvenica on the Adriatic coast, Villa Tuk enjoys lovely natural vistas and most importantly, peace and quiet. Best of all, it is only 1.8km away from the nearest beach and is surrounded by a blissful Mediterranean garden. Groups of indigenous plants and trees decorate the front of the home. They are both picturesque and beautifully fragrant.
Outdoors, a glistening infinity-edge pool looks out onto the horizon and is backed by plush sun loungers, umbrellas and a cosy lounge area. Imagine absorbing the hot Mediterranean sun rays while sprawled out on one of the loungers – blissful. At night, blue lights light up the home’s front in the evening, creating a lovely ambience over dinner and drinks. A jacuzzi situated out on the veranda allows you to luxuriate yourself while admiring the lovely views – sunsets here will be fabulous! The sizeable terrace is certainly where you will desire to spend the majority of your time.
Villa Tuk sleeps up to eight guests across four double bedrooms with integrated bathrooms. The home’s interior benefits from a gorgeous and sleek design that incorporates various shades of grey, cream and white. The home is artistically designed featuring shelves filled with ornaments, books and artworks, smooth white marble floors and distinctive artworks. On the ground floor, a luxurious and regal design can be enjoyed through soft colours, natural light and stylish touches. The first floor is luxurious yet cosy.
While spending time indoors you will still feel close to nature as floor-length windows in the living area go across the entire wall. This also lets in a dazzling natural light that will radiate through the home all day and all night.
Crikvenica beach is a gorgeous sparkling beach boasting clear waters and pebbles that dazzle in the lovely and hot sunshine. The waters are so picturesque that they will invite you in for a swim.
The peaceful beach possesses arresting scenery that you will enjoy admiring. There are glorious vistas over the island of Krk and striking mountaintops. There’s plenty of spots to grab a refreshment here, serving coffee, ice cream, beer and snacks.
Crikvenica’s Aquarium is a great beach alternative, especially on a rainy day and is open all year round apart from in January and February. The small aquarium holds a surprisingly large selection of exotic Adriatic and tropical fishes and other marine life.
The sea plays a huge part in the country’s lifestyle so it’s a wonderful experience to see so many intriguing sea species such as fish, coral, seahorses and sharks.
Restaurant Zal is a brilliant spot to sample local cuisine in Crikvenica. The venue is known for its tantalisingly fresh seafood and unique desserts and offers dining just in front of the sea. Each dish is beautifully designed, presenting the perfect photo opportunity and it tastes even better. The venue specialises in Croatian food and incorporates delicious Mediterranean and European cuisines.
