A covered seating area with a beautiful mountain view is another enjoyable spot, and there’s a barbecue for al fresco dining adventures.
Villa Zaltan is around 3km from the beach and the centre of Baška Voda. Inside, you’ll find elegant, open-plan living space, including a long and sumptuous corner sofa, satellite TV and a chandelier-lit dining area with stunning dual-aspect views. The spacious kitchen in cool white offers all you could need, including a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric hob.
Five double bedrooms all come with en-suite bathrooms, one of which features a hydromassage bathtub. All bedrooms also have a balcony so that you can enjoy the excellent coastal view from first thing in the morning until late at night.
Baška Voda is one of the most scenic spots you could wish to find, with its mix of clear seas, beaches and towering mountains proving to be an irresistible combination. Look out for boiled frogfish, and the tempting Baška Voda ravioli, filled with almonds, nuts, maraschino cherries and all sorts of other sweetness. There are plenty of places to try out, either up in the mountains or down by the sea, as the five settlements which make up Baška Voda extend across both areas.
One of the most famous destinations on the Croatian coast, nearby Makarska is a must-visit. Its beautiful sandy beach extends to almost 2km, and a stable climate ensures it gets plenty of suns.
Makarska’s Franciscan monastery and city museum will open your eyes to its history by day, while evenings get busy in the cafés, bars and clubs.
