The spectacular Casa Fana is located on the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic, overlooking its famed Teeth of the Dog golf course. A large villa with a capacity of fourteen-guests, Casa Fana is within reach of numerous resort facilities including a private beach, and has its own centrepiece pool terrace.
With six bedrooms, this villa is the ideal setting for a special occasion celebration. Centred on a large outdoor pool, there are various open and covered areas where you can just lie back and enjoy the atmosphere. An outdoor dining area, barbecue and a hot tub all add to the experience, as do the uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea.
Open-sided terraces with lounge furniture provide attractive hangouts, and you have plenty of space inside too, with an elegant sitting room and dining room. A modern kitchen is available to you, but you can leave a lot of the work to the villa’s chef who forms part of a four-person team who are ready to look after you.
Among the six bedrooms you will find two masters with a private terrace on the upper level and one downstairs, each enjoying a wonderful sea view. An additional three bedrooms with twin beds are also on the lower level, all with walk-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom.
This exquisite property has all the facilities of the Casa de Campo resort just a short distance away. It is particularly close to the private Minitas Beach, around 2km away, and the resort’s marina, tennis courts and much more are just a little further. You can also find an array of restaurants and shops around the resort, as well as a gym, spa and many more sports facilities. The Mediterranean-style village of Altos de Chavon is a must-visit too, and just a short drive from Casa FanaNear La Romana city on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, the Casa de Campo resort offers three highly rated golf courses and a host of other facilities. There’s a spa, marina and private beach with beach club, and that’s just a taster.
The golf courses include the top-rated Teeth of the Dog with its incredible views of the Caribbean Sea, rated as the best golf course in the region. Other sports facilities include tennis courts, polo fields, shooting centre and a soccer school, and the location on the River Chavon is ideal for water-sport. Great fitness and wellness facilities, in the form of a fitness centre and spa, can also be found at Casa de Campo.
The resort’s private Minitas Beach is ideal for a bit of escapism – the beach club offers relaxed dining soundtracked by DJ’s and live musicians, and the views of the ocean are the cherry on the cake. There are many more dining options from food truck to gourmet, with cuisines from Italian and French to Mexican and Spanish represented.
Other highlights include the glamorous marina area where you will also find a movie theatre, and the riverside village of Altos de Chavon. It looks ancient but all is not as it seems – this amazing recreation only dates back to 1982. Its 5,000-seater amphitheatre is a spectacular example of the work which went into the place.
