Enjoying a quiet location on the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic, Samana overlooks one of the resort’s three golf courses. Offering open-plan living with plenty of privacy, this property is set in spacious gardens and has its own swimming pool and terrace.
Up to eight guests can enjoy this attractive property, which is just minutes away from the private Minitas Beach and the resort’s famous Teeth of the Dog golf course. A large lawn area surrounds the house and offers lots of space to entertain guests or for children to play.
A terrace area provides seating and outdoor dining facilities, and there is additional bar-style seating next to the private pool. This is a secluded area which offers more privacy, and has direct access to the inside of the house. A barbecue and outdoor bar can also be found at Samana.
Inside, the main living space is very light and open, with another dining area which enjoys fantastic views of the surroundings. There is a comfortable seating area with television, and a stylish kitchen with a large fridge, oven and many more appliances. Two staff, including a chef and housekeeper, are on hand to help you during your stay.
The house has four bedrooms which can accommodate up to eight guests. All of these are on one level, and all have their own en-suite bathroom. Many other amenities including in-room televisions, safes and free Wi-Fi are also provided.Samana enjoys both peace and quiet and close proximity to Casa de Campo resort’s many amenities. Among them are a private beach, marina, spa and fitness centre, and you will also find a great selection of restaurants and entertainment venues. The magnificent Mediterranean-style village of Altos de Chavon, home of an incredible open-air amphitheatre, is also around 5km from the villa.With three excellent golf courses, thirteen tennis courts and a host of other facilities, the Casa de Campo resort has something for everyone. It’s not all about sport – you will also find a spa, marina and private beach among the facilities of this top-notch resort on the Dominican Republic’s southern coast.
The golf courses include the top-rated Teeth of the Dog, considered the best course in the Caribbean. An equestrian centre, tennis centre and soccer school, as well as a wide variety of water-sports, can all be found at the resort. A fitness centre offers tailored programmes, while a relaxing spa can pamper you with a variety of soothing treatments.
You will find a great beach club on the private Minitas Beach, where the views of the Caribbean Sea are simply sublime. Drink and dine there in informal style, or choose one of the other restaurants around the resort – with Italian, Spanish, French and Mexican and Spanish among your options, you can enjoy something totally different each night.
There are lots of opportunities to explore the region, perhaps by boat to the surrounding islands, or you can stop by the nearby city of La Romana and enjoy its shopping, casinos and beaches. Whatever you do, don’t miss visitor favourite Altos de Chavon, a stunning recreation of a 16th-century Mediterranean village which, with its impressive amphitheatre, will make you feel you’ve been transported to Europe, and back in time.
