An exquisite seven-bedroom villa located beside the private Minitas Beach, Villa Balenciaga enjoys all the amenities of the exclusive Casa de Campo resort. On the southern coast of the Dominican Republic, this incredible villa is easily accessible from the airport at La Romana and offers golf course views and a stunning private pool and hot tub.
The spacious and sophisticated property provides accommodation for up to fourteen guests, with everything on one level. Outside, a large covered terrace has seating and dining areas overlooking the pool area. The pool itself is impressively proportioned, incorporating an adjacent hot tub and right by a sun deck with a number of sun loungers. A barbecue, water features and large gardens can also be found at Villa Balenciaga.
The interiors are tastefully decorated and well designed, with a large lounge offering ample seating on comfy sofas. A dining area with seating for twelve leads directly out onto the terrace, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen too – although your chef, waiter and housekeeper will take care of everything.
The villa has seven bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Three of these rooms have king-size beds and all are kept cool and comfortable with air-conditioning. Some bedrooms also enjoy a private terrace or direct access to the pool area with its array of furnished chillout spaces.
Villa Balenciaga enjoys a peaceful, natural environment and is only a short walk or drive from many of the amenities of the Casa de Campo resort. These include three golf courses, tennis courts, a marina, spa and a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. As well as the beach club at nearby Minitas Beach, guests at the resort can also enjoy the village of Altos de Chavon, around 6km from Villa Balenciaga, with its Mediterranean vibes and impressive amphitheatre concert venue.Casa de Campo is located just outside the city of La Romana, making it easy to reach from the city’s international airport. The resort offers almost everything you could think of. From a spa and fitness centre, to nightclubs and bars, you will always find something to keep you busy.
You will find all kinds of sports facilities at Casa de Campo, including three excellent golf courses, numerous tennis courts, an equestrian centre and a soccer school. The location makes it a haven for water-sports too – choose from snorkelling, kayaking, deep-sea fishing or scuba-diving, the ideal way to see the colourful coral reefs off nearby islands.
Another highlight of the resort is its glamorous marina. It’s great for people-watching and move-watching, thanks to its multiscreen cinema located by the entrance. There is often live entertainment at the nightclub or beach club at Minitas – this private beach promises mellow vibes and stunning ocean views. There are numerous excellent restaurants around the resort too, serving cuisine from around the globe – if you crave sushi, pizza or a local favourite, you’ll have no trouble finding it.
The nearby village of Altos de Chavon is another local highlight and a big visitor attraction. Resort guests can visit it for free, and admire the magnificent 5,000-capacity amphitheatre which hosts the biggest names in music. A cultural centre with an active community of artists and craftspeople adds to the village’s creative vibe.
