Villa Peira is a comfortable, vibrant and naturally stoned house situated on the hillside above the banks of Douro River. Stunning countryside views can be admired from all areas of the home. There are three bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to six people, perfect villa for smaller groups of friends, or a family to enjoy all that the beautiful surroundings of this villa have to offer. 
The outdoor space is idyllic, with its panoramic views, you can enjoy the countryside and river views wherever you are in the villa. The well-kept garden is a real winner and contains a lot of beautiful trees, including grapevines, fruit trees and palm trees for you to admire and enjoy. There is a gardener who comes twice a week to maintain this beautiful garden. If this wasn’t enough, there is a private swimming pool with plenty of outdoor furniture, an outdoor pizza oven, a brick barbeque and an alfresco dining area. To top it off, the villa has a number of terraces around the property, all of which have plenty of outdoor seating, and there is a pergola with hammocks. This is a perfect spot for those who desire a break from the Portuguese sunshine to relax on the hammocks while witnessing the gorgeous views of the river and the countryside. Moreover, there are sports facilities included such as billiards, table football and table tennis, perfect for those who have a competitive streak.
Villa Peira offers a great indoor space where your entire group can relax comfortably. The living area is on the ground floor and is split into two areas, with a quirky, stone-walled living and dining area equipped with a television and DVD player, and a further seating area up five steps just off it. The first floor is home to a large kitchen with a further dining area and all the facilities you need, including a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine, to rustle up a delicious homecooked meal.
All of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and boast sumptuous queen-size beds and bright, colourful walls. One bathroom is shared between the bedrooms, and it is modern in its design with splashes of lime green brightening up the room.

In the Bestanca alleys and the Paiva river, you can witness the stunning surroundings, made up of some unique beauties, an abundance of green meadows, rivers and streams.
The distance to the centre is around 3km away and has an array of amenities. If you can travel a little further, then you can go to the next supermarket which is 11km away, and you can also visit Porto, which is 60km away. Porto is the principal port and city of Portugal and is famous for its Port – something you would have to try if you wanted to visit this region of Portugal. With these amenities being so close to the villa, this is the perfect location for those who would like a private and quiet villa in easy of amenities. You can try some of the many delicacies available at the port, cafes, restaurants and shops or pick up some beautiful Portuguese food to take back to the villa to cook up a storm.
