As you pull into your large private driveway, the grandeur of this stately home will strike you immediately! From the vast living rooms to the grand dining room, glamour and elegance define this sumptuous house, with classical furniture and vibrant traditional rugs, furnishing and stunning additions like the grandfather clock in the hallway! The home is more than 200 years old yet having been refurbished in just 2017 it oozes contemporary comfort and truly epitomises 21st century luxury living! But fear not, alongside modern touches this manor house retains many of its original features, with traces of its former glory apparent in every little detail! For a little relaxed fun, enjoy a game of snooker in the billiards room, or simply switch on the TV in the living room and switch off!
There are six magnificent bedrooms, all incredibly well-appointed with rich and elegant décor, and all equipped with a private bathroom! The master bedroom enjoys an Emperor double bed, as do two more rooms which include the option to be set up as twin rooms, if desired! The three remaining rooms enjoy delightful king-size beds and the same breath-taking style. All six rooms are incredibly spacious and stylish, and their accompanying bathrooms include fabulous features like freestanding bathtubs and double rain-showers!

From this incredibly privileged position on the cusp of the Orford Ness nature park you can enjoy unrivalled views across the stunning nearby coastline and of Orford Castle. Head into the history-rich town of Orford, brimming with modern artisan producers like the Pump Street Bakery, for a perfect morning stroll before heading a little way down the coast to enjoy the delights of the vibrant town of Aldeburgh! The Suffolk Manor House is located practically inside the National Trust’s Orford Ness National Nature Reserve which is a total delight for enjoying nature, wildlife and stunning views!

Starting at its southern border with Essex and stretching all the way to Lowestoft and the Norfolk coast, the 50 miles stretch of enchanting and often wild coastline of Suffolk has a little something for everyone! With charming villages, medieval towns and exquisite natural beauty all set against breath-taking skies it is a true feast for the eyes!
Just five miles up the coast is the dazzling town of Aldeburgh, with its highly distinctive architecture, colourful boats and fresh-fish shacks stretching along the beach, it is as unique as it is charming.
World-renowned for its connection with Benjamin Britten, born in nearby Lowestoft but who spent the last 30 or so years of his life living here, Aldeburgh is believed to have inspired many of the works by the prolific composer.
The impressive four-metre high ‘Scallop’ on the town’s Blue Flag beach is inscribed with the words ‘I hear those voices that will not be drowned’ from Britten’s famous opera Grimes which stand out against the glow of the Suffolk sky. You can even visit The Red House which Britten stayed in until his death in 1976 for an informal snapshot of the life he led here.
A maze of market towns like Bungay, Beccles and Bury St. Edmunds that dot the ever-intersecting rural roads amid the beautiful agricultural landscape and thatched cottages of villages, Suffolk embodies the slow pace of life that so many of us can only dream of.
