Bath Townhouse United Kingdom
Holiday Home Rental Description
Bath Townhouse is a seemingly understated Holiday home in the heart of Bath. Being a Grade II listed building, it has retained its classic Georgian architectural elegance, which has housed the likes of Jane Austen and Lord Horatio Nelson.
Entering this holiday home, from the cobbled pavement, you are greeted by a distinguished reception area. This room is furnished with several settees and an original fireplace, so put your feet up and enjoy the setting with the warmth of some of your favourite sounds through music’s ultimate physical format, the vinyl. Over the hallway is a similarly sized Parlour, where a temporary double bed can be assembled on request, for two additional guests.
Down the flight of steps will lead you to the basement level, where a modern and sleek kitchen is awaiting. Although recent in design, a fine balance of contemporary styles has been introduced to this room, whilst embracing traditional themes such as the original overhead wooden beams. The kitchen is fully fitted, with both an oven and AGA cooker for those who are really looking to produce some hearty meals. Across from the kitchen is a large dining space, with ample room for you and all your guests. If it’s all getting a bit hot for you in the kitchen and dining area, open the door which leads to a cute communal courtyard, to welcome in some fresh air.
On the first floor a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds & en-suite bathroom, can be found. These rooms are both stately in appearance and are furnished with all the essentials. The second floor has a bedroom with two single beds and two communal bathrooms, making this floor ideal for those who like to saunter to their bedrooms after a relaxing bath. On the third floor there are two bedrooms, both with single beds. These bedrooms have a colonial style and are incredibly cushy, perfect for those nippy winter months.Bath was originally founded by the Romans in the 1st Century AD. Its primary use was as a spa destination, where Romans could make use of the thermal spas and natural hot springs. Bath was then popularised by the English aristocracy during the Georgian era, which is evident through the towns architectural style. Today, Bath is a recognised UNESCO World Heritage site, where millions of tourists’ flock to every year. The surrounding countryside is incredibly lush and beautiful, ideal for hikers. For those who don’t consider themselves mountaineers; the town has numerous fine restaurants and pubs, an enjoyable nightlife scene and some amazing sites of attraction like The Jane Austen Centre, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
