Whether you have visited Orlando before, or this is your first time, the trick is that location is everything. This upscale gated Resort is just 12 miles from Walt Disney World, so you can wake up and head straight there, avoiding a long drive with over-excited kids in the back! When you do return to the villa, the Resort itself boasts fantastic facilities, from communal pools and a lazy river, to playgrounds and a fitness centre. Adults can enjoy secluded moments in the spa, or challenging afternoons on the two Premier 18-Hole Greg Norman-designed championship golf courses, before returning to Villa Colton for some quality family time.
The villa’s ground floor is open-plan, with a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining area. With bright feature walls, this space feels energetic and social, with plenty of room for you to spread out and relax. Kids can lounge on the sofas, or head back into the villa’s games room, playing pool and air hockey for hours, while you rest in the kitchen, planning out the next day of adventures.
From the main living space, glass doors lead out to the terrace, where you can relax in the sun. The private pool takes pride of place in the centre of the terrace, bordered by a couple of chairs for the lucky ones who get out there first!
Designed over one floor, no one has to rush up and down stairs, so you can wake up in turn, heading straight into the living room for breakfast or better yet out to the pool for a refreshing wake up dip! There are two double bedrooms, both boasting king-size beds, as well as two twin bedrooms that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
