As you arrive at the elegant Solara Resort, you will know you have booked the right accommodation. The resort is so well-kept and so green and attractive, you will relax and feel peaceful. Villa Katherine is a huge villa suitable for up to 14 guests – ideal for an extended family or several families wanting to spend time together. Solara Resort, Kissimmee is an ideal location to enjoy everything that Orlando has to offer. It is just 7 miles from Walt Disney World. It is a brand-new, upscale, very secure resort offering wonderful entertainment including the clubhouse, an incredible swimming pool, splash pad, water slides and Flowrider surfing simulator, fitness centre, basketball court, soccer, volleyball, gaming stations, playgrounds, bars, a restaurant and more! There is even an ice-cream parlour! The whole resort is so attractive as is the villa. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is so spacious. There is so much room that even with 14 it still will not feel crowded. The pool and terrace is such a lovely place to relax or have an early morning dip. The bedrooms are huge with plenty of storage for your holiday clothes and mostly en-suite bathrooms. There are four king bedrooms and three bedrooms with twin beds. Children’s rooms are themed with various characters they will be surely seeking out in the parks! Altogether there are 6.5 bathrooms – incredible! Upstairs there is an amazing loft space with thrilling games for children, and probably adults too! There is table football, air hockey and a pool table. On top of that, the house has flat-screen cable TV’s in all bedrooms and the living room. The location of Villa Katherine and the Solara Resort is fabulous. It is just 7 miles to Walt Disney World and within easy reach of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Epcot, Sea World Orlando, Universal Orlando, the new Legoland and the thrilling water parks – Discovery Cove, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Blizzard Beach and Universal’s Volcano Bay. Volcano Bay is the newest of the water parks and is more thrilling than ever. A spectacular volcano towers over a sun swept beach, thrilling water slides lead to secluded waterfalls, multi-person river rafts will get your heart pumping, you can brave rope bridges or simply relax on the winding river though watch out for the water sprays! The park has taken care of lines with virtual lines which means you have the freedom to spend more time with your loved ones and less time in lines.  For a complete change of scene, you can drive to either the Atlantic coast or the Gulf coast and be on the lovely beaches within an hour or so. It is a great escape after all the fun!  Publix, Aldi, Winn-Dixie or Walmart are all incredible supermarkets close by for your self-catering supplies. You can buy anything and the displays are amazing. The parks have amazing dining services though with character meals, pre-booked dining packages, themed restaurants – the choice is endless! Shopping outlet malls such as Orlando International Premium Outlets, Orlando Outlet Marketplace and Orlando Vineyard Premium Outlets will keep shoppers very happy. Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Nike, Coach and Skechers are some of the popular names.  Golf fanatics will be very pleased staying in this area.
