Ascra Star is a beautiful home located in the scenic fishing village of Nikiana on the east coast of the island Lеfkadа. The village itself is ideal for those who desire to get out and explore the island’s nature in all of its glory as it is perfect for fishing, skiing, climbing and going on pleasant walks amongst the gifts that Mother Nature has to offer. All of which can easily be enjoyed from your fantastic holiday home.
Ascra Star boasts a charming stone exterior that looks lovely against the bright blue sky and the vivid olive and cypress trees in the background. Inside, a simple yet modern design is enhanced by modern abstract artwork emblazoned onto the walls. The open plan living and dining area are perfect for socialising in. The living area possesses glass doors that cover the entire wall and look out onto the garden and wider sublime scenery.
Adorable house plants provide lovely and simplistic decoration inside the home and all bedrooms are full of incredible natural light. Outside, the immaculate green lawn is where kids will love running around. Here, you can put down a towel and sunbathe or enjoy devouring a homemade picnic while gazing over the dazzling blue sea. A sunny al fresco dining area for six sits beside the lawn and is situated so that you can look down at the quaint village below.Head down to the marvellous beach of Agios Ioannis in Lefkada town. The picturesque windy bay is often frequented by windsurfers and surfers for its strong and consistent winds. However, it is also a nice spot for some sunbathing and boasts crystalline turquoise waters and golden sands typical of most Greek beaches.
Agios Ioannis is a calm beach away from the usual flock of tourists that migrate to some of the more touristy beaches. Backed by epic green hills, Agios Ioannis is a beautiful scenic location full of photo opportunities that will remind you of its gorgeous natural beauty.
Due to the lack of beach bars, it’s best to pack up a little picnic and bottles of water when you visit this beach. This only adds to the serene and tranquil atmosphere that you can enjoy all day long.
Frangoulis Distillery is a great beach and restaurant alternative in Lefkada town. Here, you will be able to witness and learn about a vast array of traditional and local spirits. The small yet intriguing distillery is a wonderful place to learn about the local business while sampling a few products.
