The landscape is very flat around its southern shores and becomes more mountainous further north. This majestic lake is dotted with many tiny islands and a handful of larger ones. There is so much to do and see on and around Lake Garda, so it is not surprising that it is home to many beautiful Italian lake villas for rent.
At Villa del Benaco you are very close to the southern point of the Parco Regionale dell’Alto Garda. A preserved region of some of the most beautiful natural landscapes you’ll find anywhere in the world. Dramatic rock faces overlook the lake, trails and panoramic footpaths snake across the valleys, and then there’s the woodlands and towns of the hinterland and of the shore.
