Foreland Beach House holds a wonderful location within the village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe, within the beautiful county of Kent, affectionately known as the garden of England. Located within walking distance of The Coastguard, Britain’s closest pub to France, and within easy reaching distance of Deal, Dover and a number of lovely beaches, this makes the ultimate holiday home for the whole family.
The home can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across the five well-appointed bedrooms. The main living accommodation is set across the ground and lower ground floors and comprises of an inviting living room from which sea views can be enjoyed and a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room. The conservatory makes a wonderful setting for a morning cup of coffee while enjoying the sunny surroundings and the beautiful sea views. The first of the bedrooms, a king-size double is situated on the ground floor. On the first floor are two king-size bedrooms, upstairs on the second floor are a further double room and a twin, ideal for siblings or friends to share. The bedrooms share the use of two family bathrooms, one on each level.
Outside, the garden makes a wonderful retreat after action-packed days spent exploring the local beaches or walking along the famous White Cliffs! During the Summer months, guests will enjoy dining al fresco on the terrace while admiring the picturesque surroundings. Foreland Beach House is situated in the iconic village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe, within walking distance of the beach and the famous Coastguard pub. A wider number of helpful amenities, including restaurants and supermarkets, can be found in Dover itself which is just a 10-minute drive away.
There is plenty for the whole family to see, do and explore in the wonderful county of Kent. With its iconic Cathedral and fantastic shopping, the city of Canterbury is just a 30-minute drive away. For shopaholics, Ashford Designer Outlet, home to a huge selection of designer names, is 40-minutes away. There are various English Heritage and National Trust properties nearby, making for beautiful days out, including Dover Castle, Deal Castle and Walmer Castle which are all less than 15-minutes away. For the animal lovers, Port Lympne Safari Park, Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts Wild Animal Park are also all under a 30-minute drive away.
