The elegant interiors at Villa Cyra are quintessentially Thai, characterised by dark timbers, soft and ambient lighting and a sense of Eastern “zen” along with every contemporary comfort. A magnificently proportioned bedroom features a luxuriant king-sized bed, finessed with fine quality cotton linen, a very dignified writing desk and a refined-looking day bed, with muted and natural tones, soft lighting and airy high ceilings.
The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, while attention to detail throughout is flawless: tea and coffee-making, flat-screen television and air-conditioning ensure guest’s comfort.  
Set just 15 minutes from the vibrant local life found at Lamai Beach, and 30 minutes to the iconic 7-kilometre long Chaweng Beach, Samui is Thailand’s third biggest island. It is perched in the Gulf of Thailand, about 35 km north of Surat Thani Town. Previously a modest fishing village, Koh Samui is a laid back place known for its white sandy beaches and clear azure waters considered less commercial than Phuket.

One of the most talked-about landmarks is the Big Buddha temple. Sitting just off the corner of Koh Samui on a small island, it stands at 12m tall and is often the first thing people see when they fly into Koh Samui. The local name for the temple is Wat Phra Yai – it is connected to the main island by a causeway. 
Set in jungle surroundings, the two beautiful waterfalls at Na Muang are worth a visit, offering breathtakingly tranquil natural beauty. Ang Thong National Park or the Fishermen’s Village night market in Bo Phut are both unmissable sites, whilst exploring the region’s beaches by scooter will be a fun way to get about.
