Upon arrival at Casa Arelho, its modern grand design sets the tone for a laid-back escape for those who enjoy the finer things in life. Split across two levels, Casa Arelho’s decor blends traditional Portuguese design with contemporary chic, creating an elegant balance between the two within.
Inside, a large lounge and living space are all yours to make your own during your stay. Decorated in cool blues and bright whites, this light and airy space is completed by large windows that bathe the room with natural light and offer unrivalled views of the bay below.
Across from the living room, a fully-equipped modern kitchen is at your disposal throughout your stay. With everything, you need to whip up delightful dishes in the kitchen. An additional dining space is also available in Casa Arelho’s beautiful gardens, situated beneath a covered pergola.
Casa Arelho features four fantastic bedrooms to choose from, each decorated in cosy neutrals to help keep you in comfort throughout your stay. With one bedroom on the upper level and three on the lower, each room has a double bed, a private en-suite bathroom and stunning panoramic views.
Outside, you have a large grassy garden which is perfect for relaxing and catching the sun. The centrepiece of the property, however, is undeniably your large private infinity pool. A thing of dreams, this stunning pool offers outstanding views of the surrounding landscape and will have you living the high life in no time. Surrounding the pool is a sun terrace furnished with comfortable sun loungers and bean bags.Casa Arelho is located in a private residential area in the sleepy beach town of Foz do Arelho, offering its guests the perfect blend of peace and quiet and proximity to town life.
To get to Casa Arelho, you can drive to it as part of a wide trip around Portugal as the area is very well-served by local and national road links. Or, if you’re heading straight to the villa from the airport, Lisbon is the closest and most convenient arrival point. From Lisbon, it takes an hour by car to reach Casa Arelho.
Nearby, you’re just a short car ride or walk away from the centre of Foz do Arelho, your nearest town. In town, you’ll find everything you need to enjoy a holiday in the sun, from pharmacies and grocery stores to shops, bars and restaurants.
Foz do Arelho has one of Portugal’s most spectacular beach areas to visit as it’s made up of two beaches separated by a sliver of sea running between them, which feeds into the natural Obidos Lagoon. The nearest beach, Praia da Foz do Arelho, is just a 20-minute walk, or 5-minute car ride, from Casa Arelho.  
While you can get around on foot during your stay, we do recommend renting a car as you’re on a hillside, and the incline may not be suitable for all guests.
