Casa Lourinha is a spacious contemporary four bedroomed villa with a private pool sleeping up to nine guests. This sophisticated retreat is located steps away from the beach set on the fabulous Silver Coast, famous for its natural beauty, top-class golf courses and glorious silver sandy unspoilt beaches, which are truly a surfer’s paradise.  
Casa Lourinha is located in the Lourinha region of the Silver Coast. Just a 45-minute drive from Lisbon Airport. The natural and wild Praia do Vale dos Frades beach is a mere 650 metres away, and a sprinkling of restaurants, bars and supermarkets are within strolling distance; this is a wonderful location to enjoy an authentic, less crowded, Portuguese getaway.
Cool and elegant, Casa Lourinha has a wow factor. The property enjoys floor to ceiling windows throughout, sleek and stylish furnishing, and offers seclusion and space along with all the modern conveniences you could wish for, including Wi-Fi and an inviting private pool.
The ground floor is decorated in contemporary neutrals with chic, comfy seating, striking wooden furnishings and eye-catching accessories. There is a large flat screened TV to enjoy and an elegant dining area with panoramic views. The swish ultra-modern kitchen enjoys all the mod cons, including a dishwasher and washing machine, and the large island offers plenty of space for casual dining.
There are two stylish bedrooms on the ground floor, with ample storage and space. Each bedroom has two single beds, and each enjoys a luxury en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms. The master suite with a double bed is a gorgeous space to unwind and relax. Enjoying panoramic views and terrace access, you also enjoy the luxury of a walk-in wardrobe and a chic en-suite bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom is also a calm, tranquil retreat and enjoys an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Private and secure, the outdoor space of Casa Lourinha is minimal and tasteful. With expansive paved terraces and thoughtfully placed shrubs and trees, there is a cool covered dining space to enjoy barbeques and alfresco dining. The inviting secluded pool sits in front of the ground floor bedrooms, where you can just step out and enjoy!

As the weather is slightly cooler than the Algarve and the waves a little higher, the Silver Coast offers visitors a wonderful mix of relaxation and adventurous activities.
The Silver Coast (Costa de Prata) is a picturesque stretch of coastal towns on the western side of Portugal stretching from Lisbon to Porto. Lesser known than the Algarve, yet equality is beautiful; this is a lovely place to visit for miles of unspoilt silver sands, traditional Portuguese village, fabulous seafood restaurants and some of Europe’s best golf courses.
Lourinha has 12 km of coastline with several popular beaches, and Casa Lourinha is a stroll away from Praia do Vale dos Frades a small natural beach accessed by stairs. Slightly further away but easily accessible is Praia de Areia Branca beach with lifeguards and flags and plenty of parking. Waves here are ideal for learning or partaking in surfing and bodyboarding, and the white sands are spacious and spotless. There are several bars and restaurants spread out along the charming promenade that follows this long sandy stretch.  
Other beaches of note along the Silver Coast are Peniche, also known as the ‘Supertubos’ beach, as it provides surfers with the perfect ‘tube’ for catching waves and Foz do Arelho Beach, which is a lagoon beach with crystal clear waters.
Your visit to the Silver Coast would not be complete without a trip to Obidos; The walled historic town has a maze of streets and white houses, picturesque squares, wonderful churches and a fabulous castle to explore. If you are looking for a break from the waves, Obidos Lagoon offers a wonderful respite, with clear, calm shallow waters and stunning natural beauty. Golf lovers and spa seekers are going to love the Royal Obidos Spa and golf resort that provides a splendid golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and a relaxing Spa with a varied range of treatments and massages.
Lisbon is less than an hour’s drive away and is an amazing city to visit. You can shop until you drop, and a great way to see its fabulous architecture and colourful houses is to take a ride on one of the famous trams.
