Located near Petrovac, around 25 minutes’ drive south of Budva, Casa Nevena is a beautifully appointed seven-bedroom villa looking out on the Adriatic Sea. With a large beach just 200m from the property, you will be able to enjoy life on the Montenegrin coast to the fullest.
The villa has its own private outdoor pool which offers the most magnificent sea view, as does the spacious terrace which surrounds it. There are plenty of sun loungers and outdoor furniture for those lazy days, and a wonderful rooftop dining area gets an even more amazing outlook. Each floor of the house has a sea-view terrace, really making the most of this beautiful location.
Inside, the interiors are modern and well furnished. Step in from the terrace to the living area with its comfortable corner sofa and television. On the same level, you have a mini-kitchen and pantry, as well as one bedroom.
On the next level up are four more stylish bedrooms, both pairs of which have access to a shared en-suite bathroom. Two of these rooms have stunning sea views, while another has its own balcony at the side of the house.
At the top of the house are two more bedrooms and a kitchen, as well as the beautiful top-floor terrace. Another living area and a hot tub complete the picture.
This villa is in a great location, not just for the beach but also excursions to many of the most popular destinations on the Montenegrin coast. Around 18km away, the country’s prime tourist destination, Budva, is the place to go for nightlife, entertainment and more beaches, as well as a charming Old Town which is a joy to discover. On the Montenegrin coast, you have no shortage of stunning beaches to discover – they are perhaps the main draw for visitors to this part of the world. There are larger towns which are particularly popular, where more in the way of entertainment and culture can be found alongside the chilled-out beach life.
The best-known destination in Montenegro to most visitors is Budva. Located a couple of hours down the coast from Croatian neighbour, Dubrovnik, it’s still under-the-radar in comparison. The Old Town has a lot of charm, and commands some incredible views of the ocean from its highest points. Pretty narrow little streets and squares are quaint and charming, with a hotch-potch of shops, galleries and cafés, and churches like Sv Trojica and Sv Ivan.
In summer, open-air theatre and performances are often staged in the Old Town. There is also a small beach attached to the Old Town area, flanked by restaurants enjoying their scenic location.
Nearby, Dukley Marina is the epitome of upscale Budva – it’s a cool place to hang out on the many terraces. Elsewhere, Budva offers attractions from historic monuments to nightclubs, a casino and water-parks.
Those who find Budva too busy and touristy may want to make the trip south to locals’ favourite, Ulcinj. Montenegrins and their Albanian neighbours make a beeline for this particularly beautiful town and the nearby island of Ada Bojana.
