Around 30m from the sea, the wonderful Villa Stasha has all the ingredients for an unforgettable stay in Montenegro. Located a short distance from Petrovac, around 18km south of Budva, this spacious property has its own sauna and private pool, and enjoys the use of a private beach area just moments away.
There is plenty of outdoor space at the villa which incorporates a beautiful private swimming pool with step access. Adjacent to this, a spacious terrace provides both open and covered areas. There is a dining table and chairs, and a comfortable seating area, just a few steps away from the pool.
The private beach offers more opportunities for lounging around – there is a multitude of sun loungers and day beds, and even a coffee bar. Just a handful of villas have access to this beach, so it’s a great place to get some peace and quiet.
The upper floors of the villa are configured as a number of apartments, giving all guests private facilities of their own. There are two apartments with a queen-size bed on the second floor, and three with double beds on the third floor. The total capacity for the property is ten guests.
On the ground floor, you have a large living area, a dining room and well-equipped kitchen, as well as a guest bathroom and laundry.
Just 350m from Villa Stasha, a long public beach offers all you could need for a relaxing day out in the sun. There are numerous cafés and restaurants to discover, along with tennis courts, pools and shops. Nightclubs can also be found in the area.
Up the coast in Budva, you will find even more entertainment options. Look out for Aquapark Budva for a day with the family, or take a boat trip to the idyllic Sveti Nikola island, known to the locals as their ‘Hawaii’.Excellence Luxury Villas Tips…
The coast of Montenegro is lesser known than its Croatian counterpart to the north, but this only makes discovering it even more satisfying. Its best-known destination, Budva, is still hardly a household name, but perhaps it will be. Budva offers a combination of beaches, nightlife, dining out and historic sights that keep those in the know coming back.
A charming Old Town is one of Budva’s most visually appealing quarters. Stretching down to the sea, it has some lovely views, and you will feel you’ve entered another world when you see its pretty little streets and squares lined with little galleries, cafés and shops. There’s even a small beach attached to the Old Town, with some lovely restaurants enjoying the view.
For a bit of waterside glam, Dukley Marina delivers cool bar terraces and excellent people-watching. Elsewhere, Budva does its bit for families with its high-energy Aquapark offering wave pools and water slides just above the town.
Head inland and you will find more of the gems which attract visitors to Montenegro. Lipa Cave and the beautiful Lovcen National Park, with its forests and mountains, are definitely worth exploring. If you’re willing to go a bit further, there are the high-adrenaline thrills of Nevido Canyon and, nearing the Bosnian border, Tara Canyon – the world’s second deepest, after the Grand Canyon. White-water rafting is said to be the way to see it.
For beaches, the southern town of Ulcinj is hard to beat. With 12km of sands at Velika Plaza, this has to be one of the must-see spots in summer.
