Worth a visit is the nearby Phang Nga National Park, set on the coast of the Andaman Sea, it is a beautiful, untouched oasis of natural beauty hidden in the otherwise glamorous Thailand. It famously includes, it’s Khao Phing Kan island is famous for hosting James Bond in the 1974 movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun,” which is just one of the many (about 40) islands that the park hosts.
Phuket’s Big Buddha sits tall on top of the hills in the south of the island and is visible for a 5km radius due to its majestic 45m height. It offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the island and is beautiful at sunset.
The hot springs at nearby Natai offer mineral-rich hot water baths in luscious surroundings, as well as a fitness zone and spa, the water is said to be full of health-benefitting properties.
There’s a range of high-end golf courses in the region, with the closest being about 10 minutes distance (Blue Canyon Golf Course and Country Club) and is one of Phuket’s most prestigious.
