The spacious Southwood House is located just a stone’s throw from Eltham Palace, in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Contemporary in design and style, this home’s open-plan living areas lend itself well to relaxed family get-togethers. 
The house has a fresh feel, with clean lines and unclutter walls in calming neutral tomes. This is immediately apparent when stepping into the tasteful entrance hall. The entrance hall leads into the open plan fully equipped kitchen and dining room with seating for twelve guests. The spaces benefit from large windows with stain glass detailing. Next door, guests can relax in the drawing room and snug which is an ideal space for playing board games or enjoying a film.
Then, on the floor above, you’ll come to the three bedrooms, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, and a traditional family bathroom.
The top floor boasts a further three double bedrooms with crisp white walls, and an elegant family bathroom with a free-standing bathtub.Southwood House is situated in a residential area within walking distance of the wide variety of amenities Eltham has to offer including shops, bars and restaurants. New Eltham Station is just a 5-minute walk away. Eltham is home to the Art Deco Eltham Palace & Gardens, owned by English Heritage, this is only a 30-minute walk from Southwood House and is a must-visit while you are in the area. Greenwich is just a 15-minute drive away, home to Royal Greenwich Park and the Greenwich Royal Observatory, this is a beautiful part of London that you don’t want to miss.
Southwood House’s excellent road links opens up a wide variety of family-friendly attractions in the surrounding counties of Surrey and Kent. For the children, Chessington World of Adventures, Diggerland, Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor are all within a 90-minute drive. For history enthusiasts, Leeds Castle, dubbed “the loveliest castle in the world” and the romantic double-moated Hever Castle are both just a 40-minute drive away and make for wonderful days out the whole family will enjoy.
