Enjoy a fabulous, fun family holiday when you stay in the sea-view Moderna Brava villa near Lloret de Mar, on Spain’s northeast Costa Brava. This two-storey, detached, modern villa has five spacious bedrooms which can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests, which is excellent for a family getaway. The villa is set in the hillside, surrounded by lush greenery and commanding magnificent Mediterranean Sea views. The property is constructed from classic whitewashed walls, with floor-to-ceiling doors that slide open onto sea view, glass-fronted terraces and balconies. The interiors are minimalist, cool, and contemporary, with lots of natural wood and tiled floors, and decorated in a calming colour palette of neutrals with highlights of hues of sea blues.

Entry to the villa is at the upper level, where there is a Main Suite with a double bed, an ensuite shower room, and a private sea-view terrace. A second bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower room, a third has a single bed, and a fourth has a trundle bed for two. There is a shared bathroom with a shower, hand basin, and WC. Take the stairs to the lower floor, where you will be greeted by a light and airy open-plan living space with seamless access to a panoramic view terrace. The seating area has a super long, comfy sofa, a nest of coffee tables facing a sideboard and satellite television. The galley-style, natural light wood kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you will need for your stay, including that must-have morning coffee maker. The adjacent eight-seater dining set is perfect for some impressive indoor entertaining. The fifth bedroom can be found on this floor, with a double bed and an ensuite shower room.

Step outside onto the tiered terrace and admire the sweeping vista. Take the stairs to the lower level, where there is a stunning step-entry infinity swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers with shady parasols. Spend the afternoon sipping Cava in the sea-view Jacuzzi. As the sun begins to set, meet on the terrace for golden hour cocktails before feasting alfresco at the outdoor dining set, with dishes freshly grilled from the built-in barbeque.

Moderna Brava is nestled in the hillside of a quiet residential area, near the popular resort town of Lloret de Mar on Spain’s northeast Costa Brava and the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The villa is a scenic 75-kilometre drive from the nearest airport in Barcelona.

The nearest beach is only two kilometres away. Within minutes, you can be sunbathing on the golden sands of Castell d’en Plage. In the town of Lloret de Mar, there is a superb selection of beautiful beaches, most notably Fenals, where you can swim and snorkel, take part in organised games, or try your hand at some watersports, including jet skiing, paragliding, and paddleboarding.

Keep fit with a round of golf, a game of tennis, a ride across the dunes, a hike or bike ride, or a day at an adventure park with some adrenaline-inducing zip lining.
Explore the old towns of Lloret and Tossa de Mar, both rich in history, dating back to medieval times. They have ruined castles, ornate churches, and Renaissance architecture.

As the sun sets, seek out the nightlife, sip cocktails in tapas bars, wine and dine by the seashore, and dance until dawn in one of the many nightclubs of Lloret de Mar.
