The area is brimming with experiences and entertainment from nature, relaxation, sport, trekking, botany and gastronomy. Starting on your own two feet, the Gevarres is a paradise for hiking and trekking, with countless tracks crisscrossing the massif. The writer Josep Pla described the undulating area as "elephantine" due to its gentle but gargantuan humps. Forested by cork oaks, holm oaks and pines, the region’s forests and wetlands are brimming with wildlife, scenic views, and even human elements such as Romanesque hermitages. There is even the option of a wildlife expedition with an expert naturalist to guide you through the area’s biodiversity.

But perhaps you’d prefer to get around on four legs, and there’s no shortage of great horse-riding options available. Equestrian outings can be organised with the concierge and cater to all levels of riding experience.
