The impressive Villa Mudo has two ensuite double bedrooms and two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom, it can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, perfect for a family holiday or a group of friends’ get-together. The villa is surrounded by lush Mediterranean gardens, with your own private centrepiece infinity swimming pool. The property has all the mod cons, including complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi and private parking. The interiors are charmingly comfortable, furnished with contemporary pieces, and decorated in a calming colour palette of natural earth tones, giving it a real holiday home-from-home vibe.
Enter the villa to be welcomed by a light, airy, open-plan living space with uninterrupted sea views. The seating area has a comfy L-shaped sofa, armchairs, coffee tables, a sideboard, a flat-screen television, and an enclosed wood-burning fire for those cooler months and evenings. There is a six-seater dining set that is just right for some informal indoor entertaining. The monochrome, black and white tiled kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances you will need for your holiday, including that must-have morning coffee maker. There is a handy office space, with a desk and chair, for those that need to work whilst on holiday. Villa Mudo is home to four well-appointed bedrooms, each furnished with double beds and sea and mountain view balconies, where you can enjoy watching the sun rise and set. There is a master suite on the first level, which is an optional extra and is wheelchair accessible. Step outside, where the grounds are populated with mature shrubs and trees and a paved terrace home to a private step-entry infinity swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by inviting sun loungers and shady parasols. A perfectly positioned pergola has a soft seating set with picture postcard views out to sea and beyond. As dusk falls, meet on the terrace for sundowners before enjoying supper at the six-seater alfresco dining set, with dishes freshly grilled on the barbecue. Villa Mudo can be found in the unspoilt area of Faralya, known locally as Uzunyurt, a seventy-kilometre drive from Dalaman airport, set near the cosmopolitan town of Fethiye and the beautiful sandy beaches of Oludeniz. The villa is set in the hills of Butterfly Valley and enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the dramatic Lycian Way coastline. In Oludeniz, you will find one of the world’s best sandy beaches, lively seashore restaurants and bars, and exclusive souvenir shops. Hop aboard a water taxi to Gemile Island, aka Aya Nikola, a natural protected area, now an open-air museum.
Take the cable car to the top of Mount Babadag, at almost two thousand metres, you can jump off and paraglide solo or in tandem and land on Oludeniz beach. For shopping and the city, Fethiye is your destination, a harbour town that is home to an ancient amphitheatre, a historical museum and rock tombs, a foodie-heaven fish market, fabulous fashion and souvenir shops, and a marina where you can embark on the twelve island boat trip. Hike the Lycian Way and lose yourselves in ancient Greek, Roman, and Byzantine ruins. Enjoy a traditional Turkish hammam with bubbles galore and an invigorating massage. In the evening, dine at sea view restaurants on freshly caught sea food before dancing the night away on the sands of a beach club bar.
