Rent Villa Encanta Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Perched on the hillside to the north of Javea, this lovely modern villa enjoys a privileged perspective, with stunning views across the city and over the Mediterranean coastline. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, Villa Encanta features a large outdoor terrace and pool, making it the ideal spot to spend long afternoons in the sun and enjoy the peaceful setting.
Arranged over three floors, the newly-built villa makes the most of its position, with spacious rooms and large openings that frame views across the landscape and the sea beyond. The main living room is found on the lower level, stylishly decorated with a collection of artwork and well-positioned, modern furniture. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the space, and a recessed area sits to one side with a large sofa and armchair, inviting you to relax and soak up the panoramic view. Behind the sofa, a double-height space features a dining table to seat 10, which faces out to the pool. To the other end of the hall, a fully-equipped kitchen has a domestic feel, with a central island and breakfast table perfect for more informal meals. To the front of the room, large glass doors slide open to the terrace, giving access to the pool and garden beyond. A large outdoor table shaded by the cantilever of the floor above invites you to make the most of the warm summer days, enjoying long lunches beside the pool or entertaining guests and sharing an evening barbecue.
The impressive garden opens from the terrace to the marvellous, panoramic view over the sea. The swimming pool sits to the far end, where you can laze in the cool water whilst looking down to the coast, and a series of sun loungers are arranged on the surrounding astro lawn. There are also a couple of quirky swinging chairs that are perfect for relaxing with a book, whilst to the side of the villa, a couple of steps lead down to a shaded outdoor sofa, where you can sit and enjoy the sunset over a bottle of wine.
There are five bedrooms for guests to choose from. There are two double rooms on the ground floor, each enjoying its bathroom, whilst the rest are found on the upper-level access via the central staircase leading from the entrance. Sitting to one side, the stunning master suite has floor-to-ceiling windows in both the bedroom and bathroom, inviting you to wake up to watch the sunrise over the sea or relax in the bath at the end of the day, looking over the city as the light begins to face. Both the other rooms enjoy picture frame views, with large double beds and lovely ensuite bathrooms.
A lift sits in the centre of the villa, making each level easily accessible, or head down the stairs to the lower ground floor to the spacious fitness suite. You can find a variety of exercise equipment to complete a daily workout before indulging in the hot tub next door with its cinematic-like window that frames the view across the landscape. There is also a bathroom on this level and a garage area with parking for three cars.

Sat on the hillside overlooking Xavia, Villa Encanta enjoys a quiet setting, just moments from the town centre and wonderful seafront. A 30-minute walk takes you to the lighthouse perched on the top of Cap de Sant Antoni, where you can enjoy a spectacular view along the Valencian coast. Sitting on the edge of the beautiful Montgo Natural Park, the rising landscape to the rear of the villa is great for hiking. With its lovely ‘sleeping elephant’ mountain (Montgo), the nature reserve is home to an incredible variety of wildlife and plant species, and well-marked trails invite you to explore the diverse landscape or take the challenging route to the summit to be rewarded by a glorious panorama over the surrounding region.
A short drive brings you to Javea’s centre, or you can walk down the hill to the harbour and watch the local fishing boats come in with their daily catch. Walk along the quay or stop at one of the waterfront restaurants to enjoy a delicious plate of seafood or freshly grilled fish. Slightly set back from the sea, Javea’s old town dates back to the Medieval era. Wander through the historic streets and discover the traditional whitewashed houses adorned with colourful flowers, or visit the Church of San Bartolomé with its impressive gothic-style architecture. A former monastery in the Plaza Celestino Pons hosts a daily food market, whilst every Thursday, a collection of stalls gather in the Plaza de la Constitución where you can sample local delicacies or stop for a bite to eat at one of the nearby tapas bars to enjoy the typical plates of meat and cheese.
Javea has a number of sandy beaches, with Platja de l’Ampolla being a popular spot for families, or less than half an hour by car will bring you to the stunning Cala del Portixol. Sheltered by the Cap Negre headland, the shell-shaped bay is lined with white and blue ‘barracks’ (old fisherman’s houses), with a pretty white pebbled beach that gives way to beautiful turquoise waters. The sea is incredibly still protected by the cliffs, making it a perfect spot for snorkelling or hiring a kayak and paddle out to explore the rocky inlets and charming Isla del Portixol. Perched on the side of the bay, Cala Clemence makes an excellent spot for lunch, where you can enjoy a delicious plate of seafood whilst looking out over the coast.
Hidden coves dot the picturesque coastline, inviting you to explore and find a secluded spot or venture inland to discover the beautiful countryside and charming hillside villages. For a quiet afternoon, head just half an hour around the mountain to the beautiful Jardí de l’Albarda, where you can enjoy a more manicured landscape. Influenced by the old Valencian Renaissance designs, the beautifully-maintained estate features a formal and wild garden with vibrant Mediterranean planting and wonderful terraces. Wander beneath the leafy trees to discover pretty water fountains and pergolas and see the colourful pavilions built in a mix of architectural styles.
