The Chateau de Culas is spectacularly perched on a hilltop in the foothills of the French Alps. This dramatic chateau overlooks the famous turquoise Lac de Castillon, one of France’s most popular water sports lakes. The hills that surround the lake are perfect for hikers as they offer some of Provence’s finest views.
This French chateau is perfect for large family groups, as it can host up to 18 guests and has 11 acres of private land, a large 14x7m heated swimming pool and its own private beach on the Lake!
The Chateau de Culas was built in the 12th century by the Knights Templar as a fortress to protect the surrounding lands against pillaging Saracens. This is a superb holiday villa rental in the South of France.
The chateau is situated just 2km from the village of Saint André les Alpes. Nice, Cannes and Monaco are all within 104km of the chateau!
There are great restaurants locally.
