Rent Home Picton Shiny Cotswolds
Holiday Home Rental Description
At this gorgeous Grade II 15th century cottage in the idyllic village of Mickleton, there is a perfect balance between a sense of tradition and welcome modern touches. Your hosts have lovingly restored the place, preserving timber beams and retaining the original inglenook fireplace. We particularly loved how the colour scheme of clotted cream, white and beige complements the honey-hued exposed brick.
On chilly days, after a hearty supper cooked up on the AGA stove, curl up on the squishy leather sofa and warm your toes by the crackling wood burner. But when it’s nice out, a flourishing garden calls for barbecues on the patio and picnics on the lawn – you’re well catered for when it comes to outdoor living space here.
Go for a gentle stroll through your neighbourhood or lace up your walking shoes and ramble over to Hidcote Manor Garden, an arts and crafts masterpiece, just thirty minutes away. On your way home, make a pit stop at a local pub for a scrumptious lunch and well-deserved gin and tonic, five minutes’ walk from your door.
