The first thing you will notice, and last thing you will forget about Villa Grenouille is the view. From the huge terraces that grace the rear of the house you can see the bay of St. Tropez and marina community of Port Grimaud to the south, and a green valley of cork and wild olive trees to the west. 

The fully air-conditioned villa is large and comfortable, completely refurbished and fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. Every room in the villa has French style patio doors leading out onto the terraces or gardens, making the whole house very light and airy. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a W.C. and further outdoor shower room provide comfortable convenience for up to 6 guests. There is also a cot for a potential 7th (tiny) guest. The split level living space opens into the dining room and the kitchen is well equipped with a microwave & dishwasher for convenience. There is a small covered terrace leading from the living room, so it is still possible to enjoy eating outside even in the rare event of a little rain! In the much more likely event of sunshine, the swimming pool is a good size, and can be heated in the cooler months as required. 

The villa is located midway between St. Maxime and St. Tropez, in the hills above Port Grimaud, making it a perfect base from which to explore the Cote d’Azur. Some of the most beautiful scenery, spectacular beaches, amazing shopping and nightlife in the world is right here! Positioned on a private domaine called “Les Hauts de Grimaud” you have all the peace and quiet of a secluded retreat with all the tourist hot spots and beaches less than five minutes away.
The South of France has a lovely climate, with mild winters and warm dry summers. The cooling sea breezes keep the property at a comfortable temperature most days, but if you happen to experience a heat wave, you can always take a refreshing dip in the pool! 

Being right in the heart of Provence, it is a perfect base from which to explore the whole region. Day trips to Monaco, or even across the Italian border are an easy drive, or to really live it up, take a helicopter from the Heliport just 10 minutes away from the house (No, you won’t be bothered by helicopters or ‘planes, they are infrequent, and do not over fly the house). Other easy day trips include: Aix en Provence, Nice, Cannes, Marseille, Toulon, Juan les Pins, Grasse, the list is endless.
The countryside around Grimaud is covered with vineyards, producing some of the best wines in France. Many of the vineyards have tastings and the local wines are widely available and very cheap. The world famous Pampelonne beaches are within easy reach and the Harbour at St.Tropez is still, whatever anyone might tell you, the place to see and be seen.
For the mundane everyday essentials, there is a huge Geant Hypermarket with a Pharmacy and Bank a few minutes away at La Foux, whilst at the bottom of the hill from the house there is a choice of two small supermarkets for daily items. The main coast road is also dotted with small shops and two very good bakeries. Meanwhile, for the retail enthusiasts, the Cote d’Azur has some of the finest shopping anywhere. All the big designer names are in St. Tropez, Cannes, and Nice. 
Restaurants of every kind and to suit every budget abound here and are of very high quality. Locally to the Villa there are a number of very reasonably priced restaurants and cafes, Port Grimaud is especially worth a visit. Along the coast road there are a number of beach restaurants. The hill villages, such as Gassin and Grimaud have lovely little terraced restaurants, often with amazing views.
There are lots of tennis courts, a lovely big sports centre and all kinds of sporting opportunities including excellent deep sea and fresh water fishing, bowling and of course, golf. For the less practiced, there are two very good and well run “mini golf” courses at La Foux. If you’re feeling flush, an air tour by helicopter might appeal, or there’s the Casino in Ste Maxime. 
The world famous beaches of Pampelonne are just a few kilometres away, and have to be seen to be believed. A five star beach is quite an experience. Nearer to home, the lovely beach at Port Grimaud is accessible to guests, and like it’s grander cousins at Pampelonne has a beach restaurant and bar and there are loungers and sunshades to rent. For those wanting to stay close to home, it is possible to just park at the foot of the hill, where a tunnel provides access under the road for a short walk through Prairies de la Mer to the beach. There are plenty of local companies renting boats and Jet Skis and various other adventures including speed boat rides and paragliding. There is also a scuba diving club and school on the coast road near to Port Grimaud.

A fantastic destination for the whole family, there are plenty of child-friendly activities in the area including:- Go carting- Funfair- Water parks- Crazy golf- Beaches- Bowling- and dozens of other attractions from Aquariums to Zoos!
