To make the most of this outside area, there is a generously sized pool (8m x 4m) and an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy breakfasts and dinners alike. And don’t forget to take a breather in the luxurious heated jacuzzi, located on the terrace, with a glass (or two) of wine. Perfect for those cooler nights!
Inside, Villa Medos is styled with a contemporary and chic flair. The open plan living and dining room is styled with modern and comfortable couches and a stylish dining table that seats 8 people. Guests can lounge on the couches and look out the stunning wall of glass windows, taking in the surrounding nature, perhaps enjoying a beautiful sunset. The kitchen is equally as modern and sleek, well equipped for you to cook up some delicious food. Its island bench is a perfect place to set up a buffet, or for a quick breakfast before going out for the day. Moving into the property, guests can enjoy three comfortable bedrooms on the first floor, all with spacious double beds to fall into at the end of the day. Whilst two bedrooms share a modern bathroom with shower, lucky guests can enjoy one of the bedrooms with its own ensuite shower! On the ground floor is another bedroom with double bed, perfect for those who have trouble climbing stairs.
One of the most exciting features of this villa by far, is the quirky and eclectic lower floor, full of colour, collectables and a vintage American diner aesthetic. Hang out here with some fun, after dinner cocktails, or set the kids up for dinner downstairs in the designated “fun room”.  And finally, at the end of a long day put your feet up in the incredible at-home cinema room. The perfect entertainment space for kids, teens and adults alike. Enjoy some family time, watch cult classics and curl up on one of the luxurious chairs, with some popcorn, a glass of wine, and a movie of your choice.
This beautiful property isn’t just an elegant and modern home, but also features amenities that will make Villa Medos as helpful as it is spectacular. Equipped with a laundry space that features both a washing machine and dryer to help speed up the process, so you can spend more time enjoying yourself. Cots and highchairs are also available, so your little ones are taken care of as well. Not to mention a BBQ and wine cooler to make your meals a little more exciting. However, if the weather is too hot, come inside and enjoy an air-conditioned interior and speedy Wi-Fi.
Situated in beautiful Aroeira, on the Lisbon coast, this area is a lovely little pocket of residential homes, stunning beaches and of course the famed Aroeira golf course. Aroeira is known for its beautiful and large golf course designed by Frank Pennink, woven through a pinewood forest (which is actually a nature reserve filled with a range of bird species). Whether you’re a novice or an experienced golfer, this course has a wide range of playing situations that will allow you to practice and hone your skills. Struggling to find your mojo? Take a break and enjoy the stunning trees, maybe you’ll even see an orange chested Bullfinch perched on a branch.
The golf course, however, is not the only special feature of Aroeira. There is plenty more to discover in this sweet town, so if golf is not your thing, don’t worry! The beautiful and protected landscape of Costa da Caparica is only 11 km  away and is well worth the trip as it is a breath-taking protected nature reserve. The entire foreshore is a national park filled with stone pines, mastic trees and a gorgeous eucalyptus forest. A beach even closer to you is Fonte de Telha, a short 2 km away where you can lounge on the sandy beach front, swim in the waves, build ginormous sandcastles or play a bit of beach cricket! There are also a few beach front restaurants (Marisquera Sotavento – an excellent seafood restaurant) around this Fonte de Telha so stay for the sunset or escape the midday heat for a light lunch and cooling drink!
Restaurante Aroeira is a 5-minute drive and boasts an impressive and elegant menu.  Its contemporary and progressive menu will have your taste buds tingling, hoping for seconds and decadent desserts. The interior is inspired by modern English pubs with a Spanish twist and will bring a little bit of familiarity to your dining experience. For a more traditional meal you could try Solar Do Douro, with a quaint and humble interior, the food truly feels homemade and is loved by locals and tourists alike.
And don’t forget that just a 30-minute drive will get you to the charismatic and beautiful Lisbon! This would be a great idea for a day trip out of the relaxed beach vibe and into this vibrant and lively city. From colourful buildings, amazing restaurants and cafes and an abundance of culture and history Lisbon is not one to miss! Take a stroll through the main square, or find some vintage gems in the array of vintage stores in the old town.
