Villa Brujala Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Villa Brujala is a spacious five-bedroom, four-bathroom villa located between the coastal towns of Moraira and Calpe, with a jacuzzi and capacity for ten people.
The villa is made up of two houses and is located a short walk or drive from some of the most popular beaches along the Costa Blanca. You’ll feel like royalty as soon as you walk through the front door and make your way into the elegant, marble-floored living room of the main house, which boasts stylish furniture, wooden beam ceilings and large doors overlooking the garden. A large seating area is the focal point of this elegant sitting room; imagine cosying up on Spanish nights with a glass of red wine in hand. In the daytime, you can open up the french windows and admire the stunning garden views while the warm air flows through the house.
Adjoining the living room is a large fully-equipped kitchen decorated in exquisite white marble, which has everything guests need to prepare delicious meals and an indoor dining area which seats six people. Three of the bedrooms are in this first house; two twin rooms and a double room which has access to the outdoor terrace. Each has been tastefully decorated in keeping with the stylish elements of the house, and all have air conditioning.
In the second house, guests will find all the comforts of the main house with an open-plan kitchen and living room, a sofa and a large television. The bedrooms follow the sleek style of the main house, and there’s a double bedroom with access to an outdoor porch, a shared shower, and a double bedroom.
The french doors lead to the luscious green garden, which is a haven of peace, nature, and tranquillity. The large outside space has been specially designed for enjoyment and relaxation, and the spectacular pool sits at the heart of the garden space. On the surrounding terrace, guests will find sun loungers and cushioned Balinese beds alongside the pool. There’s also a covered porch area with a sofa and an outdoor dining area where guests can enjoy their meals al fresco. Every need has been catered for in this elegant outdoor space which can be seen in the outdoor kitchen, which comes with a gas barbecue, a bar, and a dining table. The highlight of the villa for so many guests is the outdoor jacuzzi which really is the cherry on the cake.Located towards the northern end of the Costa Blanca, Benissa is a small yet charming town dotted with exquisite medieval architecture and European plazas. The town has a well-preserved and well-maintained historical centre with charming nooks, centuries-old rough stone townhouses, and wrought iron balconies with colourful cascades of flowers hanging over the streets.
At the heart of the old town is the neo-gothic style ‘Catedral de la Marina’ (Marina Cathedral). A highlight of any trip to Benissa, the cathedral was only finished in the 20th Century and is a relaxing stop on a day out. Palm trees shade the town square, and a children’s play area is sure to keep the little ones happy, and you can stock up on a picnic at any one of the supermarkets in the town.
If it’s beaches that you’re after, the stretch of coastline is home to a number of quiet relaxing bays and coves and is dotted with cliffs and spectacular rocks which sit against the high mountain backdrop. The quiet beach of Playa La Fustera is idyllic, and a short walk away from Villa Brujala. The beach is lined with fine sand and is practically virgin, earning it a coveted EU blue flag beach status.
For a family day out, you can’t go wrong with Cala Els Pinets, a twenty-metre-long small and sandy cove which is perfect for those who prefer smaller beaches. The clear, turquoise waters and rocky formations make it a delight to snorkel, so pack a picnic and grab your snorkelling gear. This region has four kilometres of coastline, and visitors love to make their way along it via the ecological path (Paseo Ecologico) coastal walk, a lovely day trip for visitors to discover the local coves. Benissa is also popular with scuba divers as there’s a good variety of marine life and caves to explore.
A thirty-minute drive from the villa is the old town of Javea, an area bursting with history which cries out to be explored on foot. You’ll walk past walls that were originally built to defend against pirate attacks and tread cobbled streets lined with white houses, flower boxes and wrought iron balconies. Head to the church of San Bartolome in the town centre, which is the epitome of gothic architecture and make sure to visit the 18th-century town hall, which was built on a medieval cemetery. The church dates back to the 15th century and sits next to the indoor market which sells fresh fish, meat and vegetables daily.
