The resort is close to the centre of the very lively and flamboyant Pattaya. The nightlife is incredible with theatrical cabaret at Tiffany’s and other clubs, and neon nightclubs, bars and restaurants lining the Walking Street with their beats pounding the pavements. There are many street performers entertaining the tourists and food vendors selling delicious, tasty food.
Close to the resort is the stunningly beautiful Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It is huge and is brimming with some of the most remarkable and stunning flowers, displays and landscaped gardens in Thailand. The award-winning garden designs include the 17th-century French gardens, a recreation of Stonehenge, creative topiary gardens and gardens displaying cacti, bonsais, tropical palms and orchids. The Pattaya Floating Market at Jomtien is correctly known as the ‘Four Regions Floating Market’, representing the four major areas of Thailand. There are shops and stalls selling souvenirs, fruits, food, art, postcards, handicrafts and clothing. Some of the vendors sell their stock from boats. There are also cultural shows and demonstrations. It is very colourful and lively. For a floating market experience, you can hire a boat to explore the surrounding Thai architecture and riverside life. You can taste so many authentic Thai dishes including noodle soups, pad thai, kanom jean, lots of curry and other specialities. A wood carving museum displays beautifully carved images.
